    I think it would be cool if you could buy pets or obtain them other ways where when spawned they will help you attack mobs for you, each different type of pet would do different types of damage, (ex fire dragon does fire damage and water dragon does water damage) if you were to do this you could then add other types of dragons.

    This was a feature that got removed. It breaks Mojang's EULA.

    2 - Even if they did make it non-shop purchasable, this would allow for afk grinding builds, and we can't have that.
