Petrified Horror Buff?

First off: something tells me -2/4 is not the lowest that you can get. Secondly, a bow so focussed on spells with such high str/dex requirements is gonna have very little intel, add the -mr and before you know it all your mana is gone.

 

but theres mana steal on it and getting 2/4 mr is easy if you use spell build (im not saking you to nerf it I was just telling the guy not to worry about -2/4 mana regen)

With a spell build, -2 is actually really good. Of course if it has a 1-3 range, then 3 would be the only problem. 2 mr = 1 moon pool or any other mr equipment. 3 is problematic since it isn't as easily cancelled out. The Mana steal will probably make this play like an earth thunder "Black" for archers and slow. Almost more melee oriented and less spell oriented. Still much better than before. It will be more special and have a purpose now.

 

Except that it has 70 strength and 70 dexterity requirement. Yes, you can still get a moon pool and such, but is it worth it? I think building full on earth-thunder and relying on the mana steal instead would be better. And yes, I agree, I like this weapon a lot more now too :)

 

I prefaced if you were using a spell build. This means you'd at least want the 68 intelligence. Otherwise ur mana would be all for not. I tried to make a full petrified horror spell build since I bought a really really good one way back when they were still bad and therefore worth less (IDK how the market will change with the update to the item), then IB'd it cause none of the builds I made worked and rounding update broke it anyways.

I agree about the full earth thunder tho. That spell % +earth/thunder and high reqs are gonna be juicy damage now. Before it was kinda meh. Truly a bomber bow.

Nope; deals no damage

 

No, it simply means that whatever the base damage the weapon has (e.g. Pet Horror has neutral/thunder/earth dmg already on it), it simply multiplies it by however much -melee percentage you have. And with such a high % of -melee, it's going to cancel out most (if not all) of the base damage, so the only damage you would do is the +melee dmg (or raw melee damage), which for Derpy's Pet Horror is 432 melee.

tl;dr it doesn't heal enemies when shot, it just makes you deal zero dmg unless you have +/raw melee dmg
