Game Mechanics Party XP [35 Unique Supporters, 94.3% Approval]

    Yeah about this, right now unless you cannot solo an area, there is no point to form parties since partying with even one player means losing potentially 30-60% of your xp gain, even if you do the vast majority of the damage. Not to mention when there's a party of 10 people, the xp gain goes to absolute trash.

    For a possible fix, I have a few possible solutions.

    A) Damage Thresholds for XP
    Give a certain % of the xp the mob normally gives as if you killed it yourself.
    For example:
    10% dmg - 25% XP
    25% dmg - 40% XP
    50% dmg - 75% XP
    70% dmg - 85% XP
    90% dmg - 100% XP

    B) Increase Party XP Share value
    Currently, the XP Share bonus of the party is not noticeable at all.
    What if players get 20 % (or more if you're feeling generous) of the xp that other players gain without removing it from the player who grinded it.
    For example, there are 3 players
    Mob- 1000 base xp
    Player A -50% dmg, 300% XPB
    Player B -30% dmg, 110% XPB
    Player C - 20% dmg, 50% XPB
    So Player A would get
    1000*(50/100) * (1+(300%XPB/100)) =2000 XP
    Player B
    1000*(30/100) * (1+(110%XPB/100)) =630 XP
    Player C
    1000*(20/100) * (1+(50%XPB/100)) =300 XP
    After Party XP
    Player A
    2000 + (630*.2) + (300*.2) = 2186
    Player B
    630 + (2000*.2) + (300*.2) = 1090
    Player C
    300 + (2000*.2) + (300*.2) = 760

    Edit: @AmbassadorMax brought up the abusability of option B for leveling low level classes in high level zone, I think currently there already exists a penalty for getting xp from someone with a different level than you [i think like you lose 95% or more xp at 25-30 level gap]. For this, I would recommend a 80% xp cut could be done for a gap of 5-10 levels and no xp received if you are too far from that?

    [Pretty sure wynn uses something like this, but has a way lower share % than the proposal]

    C) Party XP Multiplier
    When in a party, xp gained is multiplied by 1+ (0.05*Player Count) to reduce the burden of losing alot of xp being in a very large party
    Requirements:
    For a player to be counted for the xp multiplier, they have to have contributed in killing mobs (atleast 15% dmg) in the past 10s

    Notes:
    Make the XP gained from other players not able to be affected by tomes/charm/xpb so it doesnt accidentally stack both yours and another players buff which will be too overpowered. Classify it as something like quest xp

    If I am understanding this correctly, C would probably be the best option. No Healer Mage left behind!
