    Hihi!

So, I feel like I need to address the new Particle Effects added to Wynncraft. If you don’t know, I am the person who suggested these new effects. No, I’m not complaining about they weren’t implemented to its originality, in fact I think that’s perfectly good and reasonable. I need to talk about the amount of particles used. I’m addressing this because I feel partially responsible for this and I feel awful about it.

Originally, there weren’t a lot of particles on Wynncraft spells (1.18 and previous), but now, spells like Meteor spout out hundreds of cloud and smoke particles. Combine that with the constant spam of the spell, and it’s absolutely horrendous. The same can apply to Bash and Spin Attack to some extent. If I had known the particle amounts would be taken so overboard I would’ve definitely lowered them.

The amount of particles makes it so I can hardly see anything. This became extremely evident to me on the Eye boss fight, where a large group of players are just spell spamming the Eye down and I can barely see indicators. I do know that a /particles command exist, but even that doesn’t do enough to block out the particle blindness sometimes.

I highly plead that the particle amounts be reduced on the Meteor and Bash spell. It would also be nice if the Spin Attack effect regained its previous circle speed, as now it feels very slow and weak. I will also be reducing my own spell particles on my own projects so that way this doesn’t happen to me too.

Once again, I am sorry to everyone who has experienced particle blindness or massive FPS drops due to all of these particles. This is partially my fault and I hope that the CT will reduce the amounts.
