Really depends the playstyle of the build.
If you want to go for better damage, ehp will surely be sacrificed, vice versa - have a look at those ETW builds. They have crazy amount of spell damage, but compare to normal builds, lacks ehp and some times hp sustain. A build that can balance all those perfectly doesn’t exist.
For spell, not only spell damage is important, spell cost and mana regen/steal also affects your dps consistency - remember this game’s spell can be spammed.
Simply speaking for the ehp/hpr part, higher ehp and hp sustains makes you survive easier and recovers faster respectively. But personally, I think ehp doesn’t really matters if you have good sustain.

Inactive I hate exam

 

This is probably my favorite build that I have used so far. The damage isn't as bad as it looks, with your totem doing ~1.2k damage per second. You also heal 1k per second with the totem heal so it's tough to die, big hits get healed nearly instantly.
It can solo LI without problems.

Mana isn't really a problem if you wait for aura to rebound (I have 7 ms). Uproot with that cost can be clunky, recasting the totem is probably more effecient.

I want to figure out how to keep the ehp and make you move faster though.

Omg abyss-imbued legged got some love (idk @J_Lo777 made a post about this before?)

 

It's losing 1 in every sp.

 

Oh yeah I was experimenting with making EWFA builds with Abyss-Imbued Leggings because of the ms ls rawspell it had, it did succeed to some extend for builds where raw spell was important

But otherwise I still decided Abyss-Imbued Leggings should stick to EWA, and that it's hard to use for any class with low base def (lol)

 

The melee dmg is too low to be called hybrid…
