Website & Forums Option To Re-link Your Forum Account

Recently, many people (including myself) have purchased a rank after already linking their forum account. The forum has not updated these ranks yet and therefore we are unable to access the VIP plaza. Lots of people have complained about this and the current solution is to email the wynncraft support. This could be a waste of time for the wynncraft support and there is a far better solution. Why is there no way to simply unlink your minecraft account from the forums and link it back? Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't this refresh the forum ranking of the user? Plus if you accidentally linked the wrong account to the forums you would now have the option to fix that. Even if this doesn't fix the rank problem, it should be implemented in the first place.

 

Since updating was still broken not too long ago (I fixed it recently), I've definitely seen a number of these reports. I definitely think an unlinking option (separate to this issue) would be a good addition. As you already know my answer, however, it might be awhile before that happens (and no guarantees).

In regards to the syncing not working, I'm thinking on adding a button somewhere that does this for you, on your profile in the event it doesn't automatically update.
