Good morning, I just randomly got hyperfixated on this so I wanted to share my findings in one final concrete answer, because I think my friend is tired of me spamming him with addendums because I kept getting things wrong lol.

This is specifically for training a fresh, 10-limit mount, into a 30-limit mount.
    Things i've tried to optimize:
    • Material Count
    • Stat Variance
    • Training
Things I didn't try to optimize
    • Time (tends to come with Material Count, unless your name is "lvl 10 materials")
    • Obtaining materials (some are easier to obtain than others)
    • Cost/Gathering Time (hehe)
and, as another disclaimer, there are probably multiple possible "optimal" combinations, but these are the first ones that my solver thingy spat out.

ok so this is boring, and also probably already well known but i need to include it for completions sake

    1. copper gem
    2. wheat string
    3. copper ingot
    4. oak paper
    5. oak wood
    6. gudgeon oil
    7. gudgeon meat
    8. wheat grains
    9. wheat string
    10. copper gem
    11. oak wood
    12. gudgeon oil
    13. copper ingot
    14. oak paper

if my calculations are right, this should take 54.35 hours to complete

Funnily enough, using level 10 materials does not save any time at all in fact it just makes things worse

    1. wheat string
    2. copper ingot
^ These 2 materials should take about 6 minutes to consume,
Just from testing, I did managed to raise one stat on my Wyvern (i have not tested with horses or adasaurs) to level 10 in those 6 minutes, though even if it takes you a little longer, does it really matter?
    and then

    1. granite gem
    2. birch paper
    3. birch wood
    4. trout oil
    5. trout meat
    6. barley grains
    7. barley string
    8. granite gem
    9. granite ingot
    10. trout oil
    11. birch wood
    12. birch paper

if my calculations are right, this should take 57.35 hours to complete, which funnily enough takes 3 hours longer than just using base materials genuinely do not do this lol

    1. oak wood
    2. oak wood

^ kick your ass into high gear and grind up one stat to lvl 10 in the 6 minutes it takes to consume, then slap in a
    1. granite gem
^ and continue grinding. It took me 12 minutes and 30 seconds (starting from when I put the birch in) to get to level 20 without doing any mount swapping spawn manipulating shenanigans. Energy was a little tight, but with some good RNG + the boost from the 5 minute feed, I've still got 40 spare energy (Energy will not be an issue if you do the mount swapping stuff)

    1. willow paper
    2. salmon oil
    3. salmon meat
    4. oat string
    5. gold ingot
    6. oat grains
    7. oat string
    8. gold gem

if my calculations are right, this should take 40.35 hours to complete

If for some reason you strictly care about variance and not.... anything else, this is the lowest I found while still only using 11 materials:
    1. oak wood
    2. oak wood
    3. barley string
    4. gold gem
    5. willow paper
    6. salmon oil
    7. salmon meat
    8. gold ingot
    9. oat grains
    10. oat string
    11. gold gem

funnily enough this takes 41.35 hours to complete, and also your training stat is lower early on
    upload_2026-4-29_19-22-22.png

Alright so now the biggest issue is actually energy, so as far as i know (I haven't actually tried this in game yet), you'll either need mount swapping shenanigans, or really good RNG on the energy boosts.

    Starting off,
    1. gudgeon oil
    2. oak paper
^ you get the idea by now, grind one stat up to lvl 10 in the 6 minutes you have
    1. birch paper
    2. trout oil
^ After the birch paper is complete, grind Jump/Altitude up to lvl 30, and you've got an entire hour to do that (waiting for the trout oil to feed)

whats funny is if you replace the Trout oil instead with Salmon oil the extra stats will actually cost an extra hour worth of wait aswell.

and, once Jump/Altitude is at 30, the rest is as follows:
    1. acacia wood
    2. carp meat
    3. sandstone gem
    4. sandstone ingot
    5. malt string
    6. malt grains

if my calculations are right, this should take 34.35 hours to complete

and now that ive spent an entire day on this the first reply is going to be "someone else already did this" and a link to someone else's post :c
