Err, I don't see you asking "is anyone here?", I do see "Hi? Hello?"
Some people will not just get into conversation with anyone, cause like you said they are doing stuffs, and they probably don't have the things you are asking for. A good place to interact with other players will be at Detlas WC1 and WC2, there are usually a ton of players there.

You don't even need a good wand at low level because of how fast you will level up and at your level quest doesn't involve much fighting either

Sorry. I know that this isn't exactly the best sort of way to enter anything, and not the best people to meet right off the bat.
However, I've seen the community much better than this, its probably the massive new player shock irritating some people.
Don't rage quit. The community will settle down, soon, and it'll be all the better for it.

Its not people being rude, just nobody can read, your messages.. they have to be around ~80 blocks or less from you. Just go to tge city detlas ~500;-1500 and stay there in the middle of the town. Then switch to world 1 and ask them

you dont need any good item at lower levels because you're going to level up fast, u can start being desperate at lv 100~101

they didnt answer you because they probably dont have a low level wand for sale
of course some people are rude, were you expecting for a 100% lovely community in a minecraft server

You should not label the community as "rude" just because they do not satisfy your needs. Nobody is obliged to make you happy, and that is not being rude.

For your problem, if your current one really makes you struggle to kill mobs, buy one at the shop or grind mobs, you will level up pretty fast and there will be better ones at higher levels.

 

idk if anybody mentioned this, but you only get the messege if you're kinda close to the person who's talking.

 

there is a chat range, people can't see your messages if they are like 100-200 blocks away and that's actually very short :/
So here are some reasons of why people didn't answer to your message
1/ the more obvious : they were too far away
2/ they didn't have a wand of your level
3/ they were afk
4/ they didn't give a fuck about you and just continued their life
it happens to me that when I travel I find someone and i'm like "hi" and they are like "" and yep it seems rude especially when you know they are not afk, they are close enough to see your message and a hi doesn't hurt lol
but yep
also, if you want to do trade, detlas WC1 is a really good idea

Hi, I'd like to step in here and try to explain some things or help you out with some of the issues you seem to be having with some members of the community.

To start I want to make sure you know about the chat range, you can only talk to people in a certain radius and I believe you know this now, if you didn't before.

As for players not answering, this can happen sometimes. It could be for a few reasons, the main one being they don't really want to interact with anyone or are not paying attention to what's going on. Can't really blame them if they're not feeling talkative or don't notice chat. People also like to be in their own little worlds as well.

For Detlas S1, while it is populated it does not mean that it is a good place to get help from. That place is usually spammy and people are usually in their own little worlds so it's hard to get a word out.
Honestly can't really change that, it's kind of how they are when in the moment and focusing only on their current conversation with another person or group. It really is better to ask the forums in this case if anyone has a wand to sell, in the trade market, usually people can help out there. Discord as well, but from your experience you might not have had a good time asking in Discord.

But there is one thing that is important, because you're a lower level asking for a new wand in an area that contains mainly high level people you're not going to find one easily. People don't collect low level items because to them it is just a spot taken up by something that they can't use.

I promise that the community of Wynn isn't full of rude people, and while it may seem that way from the outside it really isn't, it's just hard to get your word in sometimes and be heard.
Yes I will admit a rank does help, but that's only because a color pops out more than no color, but honestly don't worry about it. People shouldn't be looking down on others for having no ranks.


But, what I want to say is don't be upset if people don't respond to you, there's hundreds more people that you can try to talk to. If you don't get a response then just try another place.
