cannot get over how good thesead looks. unironically #1 build in wynn now without question

as for the bulk collection spots - we need these more so for lower lv materials, not for the higher level materials if you ask me, theres still no good spot to gather gudgeon if youre trying to get mass amounts for housing or whatever.

I feel like the “Eldritch Outlook” style is now overdone. Thesead looks good, but now it’s indifferent from the rest of the new reworked Gavel and Wynn cities. Cinfras, Rodoroc, Thanos, Bucie, and now Thesead - when you take them apart at the seams, they’re all the same. The only cities that look unique are Troms, with the fortress-type city vibe (even the houses use a different roofing style) and Ragni (big fan of the Victorian themed houses).

I get that for most Gavel cities you were going for a “capital city” feel, but the least you could have done for Thesead is come up with a new style that doesn’t make it look like a carbon copy of Cinfras. It feels like Cinfras but with different-colored roofs.

When the inevitable comes for Almuj, Llevigar, Olux, and Kandon Beda, please be original…

Thesead looks like if the Villiger city Cinfras and the Human city Detlas had a child. What if this is intentional . . . . . . . . . . .

    Please, I need to know.
What is the EO style, actually define it, describe some characteristics, and then show how the apply to these examples.

I've seen, and heard people say something is in the EO style, over and over, without anyone ever actually defining what the EO style is, or how the builds are at all similar. The closest I have seen is someone suggesting it involves pillars, which are such a wide spread element of architecture that it would be more then slightly unreasonable to suggest its a part of the "EO style."

I think the new build style is very distinguishable from the old style which was more Grian-influenced. I think one of the huge differences is with the roofs of the buildings. Grian used to use variations of clay blocks to give the color of the roofs more dimension. Now everything is one flat color, and generally the new guilds are dimensionless and are more huge because they are more squared, rather than using block stairs to round out the edges or other blocks to kinda conceal Minecraft is a squared world.

Also, your whole reasoning that all pillars are the same is wrong. All architecture styles use different pillars. You can distinguish victorian pillars from neoclassical pillars if you know about design lol. The newer pillars are wider because the new build style is bigger based on the fact the new builds have less dimension and are more square-looking

Someone could really make a thread explaining each little difference and use screenshots to explain them but it ain't gonna be me doe

tl;dr: EO style is more squared and flatter, Grian style is more organic and varied

(just trying to be helpful, pretend I'm not in the CT for a moment) As far as I know the general definition for the so called EO style is exaggerated depth and overly bright colors, possibly also a general sense that buildings are unrealistically large. There's seemingly no real consensus as to what builds qualify as being it, and there may be more specific traits I'm not aware of. Also don't know what to say to the guy directly above this, haven't heard that take before.
