You have always had to wear armor in cities. Never know if a stray mob will come.

 

What happens if all players fail to stop the mobs ?

 

You don't get any rewards.

 

and you know the city is wiped out, no big deal

 

Who cares about the city D: My rewards are much more important.

Also a friend that I got into wynncraft was wondering how the cities still have any sort of population since the people keep wandering outside constantly x3

 

AH lucky Mobs are fast breeders

I never really understood how swarm works because I only joined Wynncraft a few weeks before the Gavel expansion.

So I never got a chance to try out swarms.

Okay so you get a notification that mobs will be swarming a city.
With that you have to go to the city and wait until they arrive.
They spawn in and you have to kill them, you have to kill a lot of them and not let them spawn in too much.
After you keep killing them enough the swarm will end because you defended the city.
From this you gain a lot of XP and rewards.

 

so what happens to afk players in those cities? they'll just respawn back into the swarm and lose all thier stuff

Well if you afk, I sure hope you know when they're happening so you don't end up dead. But yes, if they're not alive and end up getting killed they will lose their stuff.

 

Hey Pretzule quick side question. Salted claims that in the gameplay update dungeons will give lots of xp, what I am wondering is what classifys as "lots of xp" as in the beta my friend did the skeleton dungeon at level 10 and only got 800xp which is actually typically 200xp less experience that we get when we tested it in the current wynncraft. Is there alot more xp in the higher leveled dungeons or is the high xp dungeon multiplier not yet implemented at all?

 

You know, I feel like AFKing isn't a very well addressed problem.

When you AFK in the wrong place or at the wrong time, it often leads to death and loss of items; so why aren't there any warnings against AFKing, or an auto-AFK kicking plugin?

 

So would afking atop the center tower in detlas be safe? all classes except assassin can reach it (I have tested)
