Please bare with me the paragraphs I have written you can ignore this or read my idea for this quest. Heads up Im only lvl 58 so idk if any quest that are similiar to this exist.

the npc can have any name as I can't think of many great names yet.

The "hero" will have to go retrieve a item from the underworld for the great wizard that needs it to cure a disease in his village but to get it you must venture through the underworld. The great wizard will give you a amulet of warding that will "protect" you from the demons but you DON'T have to wear it. This is important as if you don't wear it the quest gets extremely harder but also different. If you were to wear the necklace you would go to a area with the demons being passive and you can get to "Shaed Tree of Corruption" (Shaed is Hades) from there you will meet Shaed and have to talk to him. If you are wearing the necklace it will break once you get near there, you will have no protection from Shaed. You can either fight him to get the fruit to bring back to the great wizard or make a deal with him. The only way to make a deal with him is to NOT wear the amulet this way Shaed isn't being ward off pr angered by the magic from it. (if you don't wear it you will go to a area with aggressive mobs) The deal will give you more "power" which can be in different forms, I was thinking some kind mask/helmet that has a great amount of damage boost but for the cost of health. Once you do wear the helmet Shaed will laugh saying how you have fallen for his trick. You will start to get blindness and be "corrupted". You will then appear back in a pit of fire or a a hellish portal (safe route) and will give the fruit back to the great wizard. If you went the safe route you shall give the fruit but if you went the corrupted route you will give a "fake fruit". The great wizard would say "Thank You Adventure, I hope to see you in the next battle" he will reward you with xp and a better version of the amulet of warding (only if you went the safe side).

Later on in another quest at a city (home to many great warriors) the citizens are gathering to get ready for the "Demon Invasion". The scouts have found out that a army of demons are marching towards the city to attack them. The great wizard has asked of you to come and join the fight to defend the city. If you went the safe route you will defense the city. My idea was there is a burnt battle field with the humans and demons fighting. It will be filled with OVERWHELMING amounts of mobs but there will be different ways to defeat them, like cannons, traps, tnt, or plain fighting if you think your strong enough. After you get through the horde of mobs you will face Shaed again but revived much stronger and surrounded by his commanders. But if you are corrupted Shaed will be whispering in your head "Kill them, Kill them all, Just one hit and poof, They will be in disarray" trying to influence you to start the fight, then you will have to kill the "Warrior Commander" and the fight will begin. You will be invading the city leading the opposing army of demons to ruin the city. You will pass out again to the sight of cities in turmoil. Demons are destroying houses and Shaed is besides you waiting to tell you that "The Great Wizard" is the last of thier defence but they can't get past his holy barrier on the main castle of the city. So you will have to go up the tower and fight "The Great Wizard" who will be shocked but angered to find out why his soldiers were so weakened. You will get the Medal of Honor or the Medal of Truth.

Post down below any changes, ideas, names, rewards, dialogue, or even bad reviews T^T.

[1/3] Endertricity: It looks like it could be a pretty good idea! You may need a bit more story development though.
[2/3] Endertricity: You'll want to make a full dialogue like how it is in game (and how I'm typing right now).
[3/3] Endertricity: After that, add details. What choices can the player make? What will the builds look like? Mob stats? Item Stats? Particle effects? Cutscenes? It's up to you to make this quest as good as it can be!

let me see, I can actually build a decent rustic house if you want :P spent some weeks on a REALLY good building server. I don't know a quest format for one and I just wrote this quickly cuz I didnt want to lose the idea. Some decisions would be to wear the necklace or not, I've seen places "detect" if you were wearing a item, this will be the major decider. The next one would be to take or not take the deal (not wearing the necklace) the boss would be even harder if you dont wear the necklace and dont take the deal. The next decision moment would be in the Part 2 of the quest when your defending the city and you have to decide whether you let the corruption take you over or tell "The Great Wizard" of your betrayal. If you do tell him you will healed of the corruption with his holy element magic but if you don't you will join the demons to kill the city that is holding back them from ruling the land. The item "Necklace of Warding" would simply have defensive stat boost with a decent health, it can also be named the "Necklace of Protection". The helmet given by Shaed will have around 1k-1.5k health and -50-100/3s poison a 10-15% walk speed, and fire air dmg boost. The reason for this its the Helmet of Invisibility and fire/air seemed to match the hell theme and you should be faster/sneakier with "invis" but since its corrupted it hurts you a decent amount. The "Necklace of Waring II" would just be a buffed version of the normal one. The "Medal of Honor" would have xp I say around the 15-20% mark and some health like 50-200. The "Medal of Truth" would be the reward from Shaed that would have 15-20% loot bonus and a spell damage buff.

Rn I dont have time or even the imagination to think of a decently good dialogue so I was hoping you guys can think of some.

What I would do is put the idea down as a wall of text in Microsoft Word (as a document) or something, then make quest dialogue, particles, mobs, etc. and put it on the document like that. To make your suggestion, write an introduction (like: Here's a quest I made, here's the storyline as a story, and then here's the quest), then put in the dialogue, etc. etc.
