New Mechanic For Agility

While playing through Wynncraft, I usually empty my sprint bar all of the time. This idea that I have come up with will lengthen the amount of time players can sprint for without having to wait for their sprint bar to regenerate. The way this idea would be executed would be every time someone puts a point into agility, they would get an extra half second (or less than that if that turns out to be too OP). An alternative way of executing this would be every time a player puts a point into agility, the player would have their sprint bar regenerate faster.

This makes a lot of sense, because when you think of an agile person in an rpg, you think of someone who is quick, skilled and can dodge stuff easily.

The only problem is that this would upset the balance of how skill points are designed.

Strength gives more earth dmg and more damage to attacks.
Dexterity gives more thunder dmg and increases crit rate.
Intelligence gives more water damage and decreases mana used for spell.
Defense gives more fire damage and increases defense.
Air gives more air damage and increases dodge rate.

Adding a sprint incentive for air skill points would give it an unjustified advantage since it would essentially have 3 perks.

 

They should add some Generic skill point buff

Yeah, it would be too OP to add on 50% walk speed to walk speed builds. Plus it's kinda unnecessary given we already have horses.

 

I never said this would make your character faster. I only said that they could sprint for a longer amount of time

 

Oops, my bad. I'm still kinda meh for mobility suggestions, but I'll support it.

 

Maybe add a sprint potion where you can sprint infinitely for idk, 3 mins? Just a completely random suggestion which is probably op. Your idea is good, but not for air skill points.

 

That potion would be so OP, that writing it as OP wouldn't do it service. We would need to write that it's OVERPOWERED, becouse holy fuck it is.

Yeah that was just a random suggestion which I took about 4.79 seconds to write. Maybe an identification which adds to sprint duration instaed? But probably not as they'd have to rework a bunch of identifications.

 

How is being able to spring continuously overpowered it really isn't a bit extra movement speed would not be game breaking and people can hardly tell if a player is sprinting or not. As for the suggestion it should be balanced so other skill points give bonus perks such as defense having something as well as intelligence.
