    anyways I've been thinking a LOT about this silly little idea and I think I can finally post about it again, so here it is

    Design wise I feel like a transforming weapon might be hard to model in a game like Minecraft, so in a perfect world where this idea gets used for something, I could see the gun and the sword being separate, interchangeable weapons, while keeping the same gimmick, in my next post I plan to draw up some designs so ill explore this idea further then.

    My last post was filled with really great ideas for the moves and so I feel like we should talk about that next

    R-L-R is going to be the first ability you unlock, it's only purpose is to swap your weapons around, the skill tree node would also explain how Bullets work

    "Swap" Mana Cost = 0

    "Whenever you slay an enemy, gain +1 Bullet (max 6)"
    "Bullets allow you to attack and use abilities in Gun mode"
    (this ability will automatically be cast if you have no bullets left in Gun mode)

    the next, white node would state

    "Adaptive Soldier

    while in sword mode gain 5% base resistances
    while in gun mode gain 5% movement speed
    ------ -

    the following yellow node states

    ------ +
    "Overwhelming Fire"

    "For every successful hit in Gun mode increase next hit's damage by 10%, resets on Swap"
    "Using abilities in Gun mode cost no mana"

    The next ability is going to be the R-R-R, the movement ability

    "Precise Slash/Lead Whip" Mana cost: 50 | Bullet cost: 1

    "dash forward, impaling any enemies in your way, if you hit an enemy this can be recast an additional time with no cost"

    "if in Gun mode dash forward and deal damage in a small radius around yourself, if this hits an enemy apply Overwhelming Fire Twice"

    I don't have any of the other skill nodes ready, but I have expanded upon one of the sub classes,

    Gunmancer: while the first ideas was pretty cool, I feel like flipping the gimmick is a bit too much, and so I'm changing this class to "The Grappler" it will focus on dealing damage with the Sword and using the new "grapple shots" (lowering the max to 2) to get closer to enemies, this will be the melee subclass and some of the nodes in this skill tree will include +more Sword damage +HUGE single use Gun damage +any and all shots will drag you to the target, and swap off to Sword mode and later on a node that makes precise slash an almost infinite cast as long as you kill something, so you'll be moving around a lot


    for now that's what I got, I'm going to try and make my own skill tree visual, not sure how but I've seen some people here do it so ill look into it, if you guys have any feedback it would be awesome to hear (I need help naming these things manne)

    As mentioned in the other post we aren't going to implement stuff like this. It's cool and it's impressive you put this much thought and time into it, but don't get your hopes up that it'll go in game.

    I know, and I've said this before on my previous post but I'm only sharing my ideas because they are fun, and all I hope it works up to is inspiration for the devs to make something that they feel would fit, even if it isn't a new class :smiley:

    I don't hate suggestions like these. I think they're neat, they just aren't going to contribute much to the game.

    That's a very valid concern. I think it's important to remember that wynn takes its design seriously, and that suggestions merely being good or interesting isn't enough to warrant it being added to the game. I think forgetting that is where the community's disappointment tend to come from, including mine.
