Hello everyone.

I am glad I can finally share the fact I am part of the best team on Wynncraft, the balancing team. It was so tedious to hold outdated views on forums regarding items when I knew how they will be changed. Didn't want anyone to suspect anything even the slightest, so I decided not to risk anything and hold my original thoughts and opinions regarding certain items and mechanics. I am glad that's over now.

Now, regarding some item changes you guys might not like or don't understand. The game is played by many different people with many different opinions and liking. The way you play the game since the beginning defines your opinions. User who uses archer for 3 years straight won't have the same views as someone who plays all 4 classes equally. Both of those users will have different opinions about items and how to balance them, and unfortunately, sometimes you can't please everyone. I know that cause I am still salty about my build breaking again lol.

Reading Selvut's post, I now understand how seriously some people took the item changes. Death threats, over anything, are never okay. I understand people get passionate and in the heath of the moment they say things they don't mean, but wow, that was a truly shocking thing to read.

I seriously hope people will cut Selvut some slack and instead yell on all of us if they dislike certain changes.

I still have 1 big test to pass on my college. If everything goes well, I'll try to push for an official CT member. If not, that's okay, I know items are in good hands. I'll only miss talking to all of them as they are an amazing people.

Yo Selvut/balance team why does the new air spear have more walkspeed then Hero. Seeing as hero's damage sucks..(2x less than strati's dmg) It should have 20-50 walk speed at least.

hero post change 4790-5983 (62 strength 100 agility)

hero 4 t6 earth damage 100% spell damage (uppercut first hit)

hero post change 4684-6020 (62 strength 100 agility)


even 4t6 (post nerf) earth hero doesnt outdamage 4t6 air hero pre nerf

Having a CT balancing team sounds like a good idea to me.
I also think that having an area of the forums for people outside of this group to suggest ideas and talk about opinions on item balance would be great in the future, this would make the community feel much more involved and would be a great space for this topic to be more openly discussed. The outrage following these changes was ridiculous, and although I agree that mythic changes should be quite reserved, I believe that overall these changes were very well done and were for the better. The changes seem to offer a much more fair playing field for mythics in general and the market.

Thanks for all of your work on items, and I hope that the vile people threatening you can be dealt with.

If you manage to get roughly 70%dodge that should be good enough for most mobs really ;D (i completely agree with you though that it is a risky gamble. Fact is you can also get 20k bombs without rage.... pretty sure at least.)

 

I dont really understand why the skill requirements for ignis was raised 80->95. my build doesnt work anymore. Do they want you to go tank archer or something...
