Mythic Balancing, What's Your Opinion?

Had there been anything said about an elemental defense fix recently? If so I'm sensing a massive change in the pvp meta.

 

The problem is that % regen.... kiiiinda sucks. If we switched the % amd raw regen so it has base 25 % regen and base 140 raw regen, it would probably be balanced

That's not an opinion; that's objectively true. I mean you can sort of use the -exploding with Knucklebones to get some good damage, but that's REALLY niche, and that's pretty much the ONLY mildly interesting part of it.

 

A while ago someone made a dmg calculation thread which showed this bug. Also a while later someone said the fix is coming, but eh.

However, Jum-Jum is reworking the code, everyone's hoping for the legendary elem def fix to come with that.

 

As an ex lament user, ill just say this..

Boi use a lament and tell me its damage is too much

i think it should be balanced, maybe a maximum of like 7 mana steal and MORE damage

lament is purely a gimmick its 10 mana is basically useless considering how much intel you have you will 100% have at least another few mr or ms which is just overkill imo

also mana steal means you need to hit the mob to get it,

but that means you need to get close to them

but that means you're gonna die to any boss if it gets 3 hits in or more,
but thats just assuming you're slightly glass,

and everyones glass lament if they want more then like 6-7k on qira,
i haven't used lament in a while so i might be wrong but, Like i said, i think it deserves MORE damage


ALSO its going to be literally the ONLY reliable thing left for spell orientated mythics if gaia gets nerfed to be mostly just melee, and pure doesn't get buffed (even if it does its gonna be trash trash for level 100)

Lament's Mana Steal can be invested into Suppressions which give back 6/4 mana regen at the cost of 8/4 mana steal. Pretty good deal if you ask me.

 

yeah thats pretty smart, but as someone said earlier something as extreme as a mythic letalone any item in the game should not be balanced around the idealism of "its fine because its good with another item"

i think my point still stands, i do wish i still had a lament to see what it was like with a real more updated build

my old build was some 20 mr bullshit lol

Enjoy your 10k meteors, or 13k if crit, and up to 40k if you get concentration on armor, curse activated and a crit on mobs.
Not glass at all, 100-500 defense each element, depending on the element.
10/4s mana regen, more than enough for a 110+ intel build.

How about giving Grimtrap negative health regen and keeping the other stats the same? That would at least fit the lore and you would have to keep hitting things to stay alive.

 

That's interesting. However currently the idea with it is exchanging heals for mana, with the negative mana. But because -0/4s mana steal is a thing that doesn't really work.

Oh god the narcisism of wynncraft people is insane. The only reason why wynncraft is slightly more popular than dungeon realms is resource pack for kids.
