Media My Thoughts On Yt Xp

The sad thing is YTrs sometimes take advantage of this to get better things when other people can't get that special treatment. Helping with bosses I get but YTrs don't need to actually take the handouts

 

One person is enough. I did it with just @Terunalix and that worked out just fine. But I see your point.

It probably wouldn't be that hard. I'm sure they've done far more complicated things. Although I might be wrong, I don't know much about coding.

I personaly wouldn't keep it on, as I said in the thread the txp is damaging my 1-100 series. I just want the option to be there because I see benefit both from normal xp and txp.

And I think the YT server is a great idea, but that might also be a waste of money (don't know if they would need to pay additional money to keep that server up for us few youtubers).

 

I will agree to this if I get a toggle too, or we could all get toggles, either way :)

 

Wouldn't it just be like adding server 27 for the day? Its just a locked world (pretty sure thats how it world before but back then there was portals and shit so IDK).

 

I feel the Media rank in general is fine. But I don't feel that being a content creator should reap any real benefits. Yes you advertise the server and yes you help the community. But is ruining the game in the process really good for the server?
For someone like myself who is fairly competitive. I don't even see a purpose in competing on a server where other players get level 100 in 5 hours, whereas I need to finish a quest, grind, finish a quest, grind, Repeat. Maybe making the EXP boost lower? Like I can fight against them having constant double exp. Since I can get Exp Bombs. (Maybe make it so they just have constant DXP effects without allowing exp bombs to buff the exp?)

 

I mean, you can kinda toggle the YT txp already by doing /guild xp 66 (which puts 2/3 of the 3x xp into the guild xp, leaving the player with 1x xp), but yeah, there should be a way for YTers to disable the txp is they wish to do so.

 

I think it's come now when you have the rank. Will be à good idea for people who just need /hide...

Dxp is not enough to go lvl 1 -> 100 without grinding. You need txp for Wynn Excavation site D and Qira Hive min to get enough XP.
Maybe a constant dxp but with bomb effect.

 

I'm not saying that you should be able to do it without grinding. By removing the 3x, it will still give the feel of faster pace.

 

I still think that x3 XP is a good reward for 2,000/10,000 subs, I mean if you are a youtuber you know how hard it is to get to that point....

Not really... I constantly have to go into /hide cause around high time, I get a ton people messaging me and some just spamming me nonstop.

You can't get to 100 with just txp (you could with some insane xp armor though). txp and an xp bomb half the time would be enough though

 

I was talking about people who get the rank to get /hide and not to make lets play, who don't deserve a txp...
You perfectly deserve both.

Honestly, they should make it so that YT's keep their 3XP, but make it so they aren't affected by XP Bombs or double XP weekends/servers. However, they still get affected by XP bonus on their armor, weapons, etc

if you want to have XP like a normal player, do /guild XP 66
if you want to have XP like on double XP weekend, do /guild XP 33

 

There's actually always a YT server provisioned... I think I've seen it used like once or twice when we first set it up. I don't even remember how you're supposed to join it.

Anyways, on a more serious note I actually thought about your series when I first heard about YT TXP, and was like "wouldn't it be shorter?" So I think a toggle would help a lot. And hopefully that's what Salted (daddy apparently) was talking about.

 

I've had my channel up for... oh I don't know, 3 years now? Still only have 110 subs, and I do work hard at it.
Only recently have I been blowing up, albeit not much.
