Guilds My Proposition On Fixing Guilds.

So guilds are currently broken, right? Well here is my idea on how to fix it.
So the problem with guilds is glitches and here is how to fix them:

Firstly, for the problem with members being glitched (like me)
In the API it goes by username, not user ID. So lets say my name WAS nightrider_4Life it would appear on the api as NightRider_4Life, right? right. But my name was changed to LeyFerPower and now what? It still says NightRider_4Life, doesnt it? For this reason, if you try to do /kick leyferpower it doesnt kick you, and if you do /kick nightrider_4life it doesnt find an account, since the account doesnt exist anymore.

So how do we fix this?

Easy.

Reset the api to store your user ID instead so that when you change a name nothing changes. But then you have to make it so that when you do a command to a player, it searches the user id, and does whatever to the userid.

However, to do this we must do a reset, which is where everyon ecries because Hax spent so much time getting to 69.

But pokeman go kid, why didnt they do this yet?
- Because if they did everyone would cry that all the stats are lost (I think thats why)

its just the jumla code needs a giant rework which is why we are all waiting on him to write all the code again since last year

 

I noted in the post they already thought of this

 

they thought about it more than a year ago but in order for it to work jumla has to rewrite the entire code so that means a long time with no updates at all which is what is coming upon us.

 

They actually agrred to do userid and reset stats?

 

They didn't say they will reset everything (but most of us guess they won't have a choice)
Shortly after name changes were introduced they saud the system should have automatically taken care of guild members but for some reason it just fucked everything up so they need to rewrite it.

 

I mean, all they have to recode is the userid instead of a name
