My Opinion On The Totem Idea

Rules exist to be regarded: you don't steal something while the cops aren't watching. You just don't. What you are saying translates to 'let's go break in because the police never comes here' in a real-life scenario.

 

I'm seeing alot about non-VIPs begging for totems and XP bombs, but no one seems to be even slightly concerned about non-VIPs begging to join a party with a VIP? Am I missing something or this something we should worry about?

 

Honestly... I see this as a bit ungrateful... They could just leave it be, and not give back the x2 exp at all! Honestly, it's a bit insensitive that you all are getting mad over it being too short of a time period, or whatever. The staff didn't have to bring this in, they did it because people wanted it. So, honestly, it's just wrong to want more when Non-VIPs don't even get these, and they have to deal with that. It makes you look a little whiny, and it's just kinda sad -.-

 

Yes they could just leave it be, and you know what, I wouldn't mind after all the effort I've been through to try and convince people that bringing back full double xp is the way to go, but since we're not getting any responses from anyone in authority I don't really see the point anymore.

And if they are doing this because people want it then surely they'd be actually reading our feedback about what we want. Regarding non-VIP's not getting anything well they didn't complain when VIP's had it before, so they don't need to complain now. Yes we may seem a little whiny and that's because we care about the server, and obviously we are going to whine a bit to hopefully get what us, the donators, what we want out of Wynncraft.

If I have come across as a little whiny then I'm sorry, But I just want my opinion to be heard, but you know what, It's their server and they can do as they please, but I just hope they do whats wisest.

 

but they don't have to change it. So honestly, people should just shut up about it, cause yes, they did it cause people wanted it. It's not really the wisest really, cause they would have to stop what they're doing, and they'd have to recode it, and all that crap, and then that would push Gavel back a bit, just so they can make the deadline that they set. Making people get mad at them for "lying" and all that crap. They can't just change something midway through making it, or else they could ruin something else, and problems could arise, and all that crap. Do you understand how much work that would be? I'm just saying, it's NOT the wisest option, especially if the possibility that they started the coding for this already, and are almost done with it is there. Then it would just push it back further. The people who requested all of this, did this. So be happy with the stuff you get. Cause they can't go back on their word now, not this close to release.

You know what, I'm not even going to try and argue; I've had enough. But, If they were in a process of coding it and stuff then why did they ask for feedback? Whats the point of asking for feedback if they've already made it, and anyway, it'd probably be released after Gavel.

It wouldn't take that long to make it, really... it would take about half a week minimum. How long was the thread they announced for feedback ago? More than that. So just stop...
Also, as a matter of fact, I'm not sucking up. You just can't admit that I have a lot of fact to what I say. You just want to be right, so honestly, you just push my thoughts, and ideas, and FACTS down, cause it's not what you believe. Honestly, it's just dumb seeing people complain about all this crap -.-

I donated to it to support it as well. Twice actually, and do you see me complaining? That's when you know you're kind of whiny and selfish, is when someone who did the same as you, isn't being the same as you when it comes to going against an idea that the OWNERS decided to put into the game.

ALSO, they're pushing the boundaries of what is allowed already. So, really, this is one of the ONLY things they can do that is legal for them to do. Plus you get another one, or whatever the next day anyways, I just don't see the issue about this, it's just so uncalled for.

Yes, and come to think of it @DerpyDragonHoke has a very good point, I'm not going to argue anymore; I've had my fun. I hope Admins do whats best, after all, somethings better than nothing, I didn't really see this perspective of being ungrateful and such before. If they are already in the process of making something already then they should just continue with it, but I didn't expect someone to jump in and be so rude, next time try being a bit calmer, people like me will take you more seriously. But seriously, you do have a good point and I'm ending my argument here; if this whole double xp thing is going to intrude on the release of Gavel then for Gods sake, forget about it.

Well @DerpyDragonHoke you've successfully changed my thoughts on this, but if it was down to me, I'd want full double xp back.

 

I honestly couldn't care more whether they bring back double xp or not. By the time they do it, I might have a lot of 75s already. Besides, as said earlier, Non-VIPs are not supporting the server in anyways, and donors with double xp wouldn't hinder their leveling progress at all.
If they can't bring back double xp, they might need to add something else, because at this rate, the donations revenue Wynncraft has isn't looking very good.

You're selfless, donating. I respect that. But not everyone is like you. Not everyone would donate just to support Wynncraft unless they get something in return.

People support the server by playing it, and sharing it with friends, if you can't see that, then sir, I must tell you, you're blind.

Also, so what? I wasn't mentioning about people being greedy and donating just for rewards, I was just stating that I donated because I wanted to see the server get better.

You need to learn to make better arguments, cause honestly, your arguments are kinda crap. Sorry, but it's true. I honestly would be happy if the owners didn't make a double xp feature just because people are complaining about this bull crap. In fact. WHY DON'T THEY?!? I mean, obviously, you don't like the way it's going, so why not? You guys control it right? Just get rid of it, it's gonna cause arguments either way. You'll be in the same area as I am if they add something that is more than this, and the NON-VIP players are arguing why there shouldn't be x2 xp.

 

Alright, I'm going to be honest now, many people don't think VIP is worth it. That's why the donations made are dropping down. Why are people complaining? Because don't see any benefits from purchasing VIP. You have to remember many servers out there give a shit down of donor perks, so comparing Wynncraft donor perks with theirs seem bland and pitiful. Wynncraft could add more cosmetics, that would obviously help. But God knows how long it would take to code in new cosmetics, considering it's nearly been a year and the dye feature still hasn't came out yet.
Double Xp is the easiest and most efficient solution as of right now. Until feature options can be made, this is honestly the best option for the Wynncraft Team.

 

Wynns donations would also go up if there was some more updates. Alot of people have reached level 75 or just got bored and need new content but theres none. Hopefully gavel will bring back some of these people and increase the donations but if the same thing happens again and no new content comes once gavel is here, even with double XP the server may lack funds.
