My Meteors Deal Less Damage, Please Help

i don't know where to start, but basically my meteors deal about 2000 less damage after a series of events. i'm a water build oriented mage. i was testing out gear, switched out most of my armor to different builds then switched back to my original gear, where i dealt 5k-7k damage with my meteors. I also reset my skill points, but the only thing i can think off that affected my damage, besides intel, of course, is strength, but before i reset my points i only had about 18 strength, or something like that. which no way could've made a 2k damage difference.

i tried reseting my skill points several times, going back to the same skill points build i was using, but it was no use. i still lost 2k damage. before this series of events, earlier in the day, i augmented my requiem with 2 tier 6 water powders, which basically gave me that 2k damage boost that i lost. before the powders, i dealt the current damage i deal, which is 5k a meteor. it's almost like my powders have been rendered useless.

i can't think of anything else that could've altered my damage output. i apologize for the text wall, but i really don't know where else do i ask for help, so i figured the forums would be the best place. any help would be appreciated, thank you.

TL:DR: water mage, switched gear and some skill pts, now deal 2k less damage

the accessories remain the same, i don't know if they would be much of help, but:
2x silver hydro ring
vanguard
gold hydro amulet

Could be the lack of the nii plate, or whitecap crown

 

2k less just cus of that seems a lot to me though ._.

 

i don't think you get it. white cap crown and the nii plate are a part of my origina build that i usually use, i used to deal 7k damage with those, along with the water sanc and nii boots. i played around with my build to see if i can get better, with aquarius and whatever else i listed, i got less damage. i switched back to the original build, and i basically deal less damage

 

I know. Removing those may have caused that

 

that makes no sense though, i'm currently using those and the other lower half body armor, and im dealing less than i used to..
