Serious My Depression.

Waaait I want to post a silly Asutrailian singing.

It's more about the general problems of life than depression, to be specific. But depression counts.

Also my mother just told me today that a half of my family has depression (stemming from ADHD)

 

Ive never actually been diagnosed with depression. I don't think I have it, but sometimes I hit a bump in life. Something that makes me feel like an idiot, a loser. Such as my low math mark right now.
Although my condition is not severe, it is not healthy. The only thoughts I really have are negative ones during the time. Especially negative thoughts on me.

I can't imagine how you feel like. Since I do not have it myself. But I can imagine it would be torture. Maybe I have something I used to do that would help. When you have a negative thought. Immediately think of a positive thought. Fight darkness with light, not darkness. If you feel your future is hopeless, talk to your friends, family and close ones. I bet they can think of thousands of good things about you.

Lots of people have depression, so don't ever think you are alone in the dark.

I myself have (luckily) never experienced what depression is like, however I have a lot of empathy for those who suffer from it.

Don't forget that there's not only people out there who are willing to help you, but people here who are willing to support you. I'm glad you met @CuddleDragonHoke, since he's one of the nicest people I know when it comes to topics such as this.

Whenever you're feeling down, even a little, smile. Smile like you've just won the lottery; think about the things you love in life; think about what makes you laugh, and feel happy. I don't know how, but whenever you smile, it brings back good memories. Maybe it's your brain associating smiling with happy events, but I can say that smiling will most likely make you feel a lot better.

Don't let your mind wander into those bad thoughts when you lie in bed. I know I'm not you, nor have I suffered what you're suffering, but try to think happy thoughts when you go to sleep. Imagine yourself a on a grand adventure through Gavel itself, helping Villagers and slaying Monsters; keep thinking about what you're doing in Gavel as you fall asleep, and hopefully, you'll dream about it.

Everyone I know on this forum are kind and willing to help, so if you're feeling down and you feel like you have nobody to turn to, come to us. Everyone I know would help you if you said you were feeling down.

Now I may not know you too well, and I may not be smart enough to give you a really good and cliché song, so I'll just how I feel about you and this post.

I would first like to adress the difference between Courage and Bravery. A person can do something courageous and not know it. A person can only do something brave if they feel they cannot do it.

The fact that your are still walking, talking, typing, and living today means you are a brave person. Not a courageous idiot who takes a jump because they think it's safe. You are looking your fears straight in the eyes and saying it's name.

More often than not, the thing that hurts you the most is Denial. It hurts you because when it leaves, you are left alone, and Denial won't ever come back. You'll meet someone just like Denial, but it won't ever be the same. It won't ever be the same, but it doesn't have to.

In ancient Japanese folklore, it was said then when a butterfly beat it's wing, the ocean would swell up into a fearsom tide. The fact that a butterfly's wings, less than a millimeter thick, could make water move in such a fashion that it could rain down upon thousands is incredible.

Accio, you are a butterfly, but they never said the butterfly didn't know what it was doing. Will you cause a great tide that will crash down upon the rocks, or will your tide water the poor's crops? Either way, it has a choice. I'm not going to decided for you or the butterfly. I am simply going to provide an enigmatic statement for you to interpret.

The quote is at around 8:40 in. He can be a bit.. Rambly... But he does explain the ramifications and why not to commit suicide pretty well. (If pretty insensitive at times.)

 

I feel you man... Tried to killed myself by sqeezing my eyes to death.... that's why I have glasses now and some of my vision is gone... :/
Only reason I haven't left since I have too many loved ones..
