Murder Mystery 1: Banker [solved]

Travelling Merchant: Tell me more about your superstitions, more precisely, tell me about the part about bad luck from taking from the dead. Also, what do you say about Item Buyer's claim of you holding a knife?
Rawb: Tell me, why do you like Alga so much?
Old Mage: You didn't happen to see Rawb at the scene when you found the body did you?
Poor Assassin: Did anybody run to the alleyway at the time you called for help? Also, when did you arrive at the alleyway?
Warrior: The knife Rawb was holding, how would you describe the quality?
Item Buyer: Please describe the quality of the knife the Travelling Merchant was holding.

Notes:
Old Mage has dulled senses of hearing and sight.
Poor Assassin's testimony seems to be ill-conceived.
According to Mage's Testimony, there seemed to be one more person near the alleyway other than Poor Assassin.
The current suspect seems to be Travelling Merchant, but I lack the intelligence to find something inconsistent with his testimony.
Warrior, Old Mage, Poor Assassin and Rawb all seemed to have arrived about half an hour after the murder, some confusion must have occurred, leading to Warrior attacking 'Rawb'. Item Buyer and Travelling Merchant appear to be the only ones at the scene at the time of the murder.

 

Joke guess:
Murderer(s): Rawb
Reason: Rawb was on too much Alga after wandering Gavel for a while and he decided to go back to Detlas. Of course, he was so high that he randomly killed the Banker.
Side Notes?: Since when was I an old Mage?

 

To Rawb-What were you trading with the Travelling Merchant for (I think I know the answer but just in case)?

To the Traveling Merchant-Did you notice anything about the shadow?

To the Item Buyer-Did you notice anything about the knife? Did you talk to any of the other suspects on the day of the murder?

To the Poor Assasin-Did you see what weapon or weapons Rawb was attacking the Banker with? And other than talking to the Warrior, have you had any contact with anyone on the day of the murder?

To theWarrior-Did you see any of the other suspects before the time of the murder?

To the Old Mage-Did you notice anything about the person who disappeared into the alley?

Banker-I examine the Banker to see if there is anything on him which someone might have been looking for or signs that something was taken off him.

Extra: I go to the Detlas Bank and ask the emerald merchants and any other staff, "Did the Banker have any dealings with anyone in the past few days?"

Extra 2: I go to the Item Identifier and ask him(I guess the identifier is a he?), taking out the knife, "Has anyone asked you to identify this knife? Do you know which weapon this knife was? If someone asked you to identify this knife, then what did they look like? Or if you know who they were, who were they?"

 

Rawb- Certain...things...uhm
Traveling Merchant- Not really, but the shadow was definitely human.
Item Buyer- I'm pretty sure the knife was poor quality. Only the Old Mage actually.
Assassin- I think Rawb was holding a...uhm...actually I can't remember.
Warrior- I saw the Item Buyer.
Mage- Uhm...it was human. Actually, I don't know. I only heard that form the other room.

Voice from the sky: You see a bag empty. [Clue Found]
Emerald Merchants: Obviously. He's a banker.
Identifier: Probably. I don't remember who, though.

Traveling Merchant- Well, I believe that taking a certain item from the deceased without the deceased's permission beforehand, is a sign of dishonour, and the dead will curse you. (Regarding knife) I would never!
Rawb- Ahahahah...I just like it.
Mage- Uhm...I'm not sure.
Assassin- No, I was the only one there, but the warrior came in when I shouted for help. Also, I was there for the whole day.
Warrior- It was pretty mediocore. Your average knife.
Item Buyer- Low quality.

Rawb: Who else is staying at the your hotel? Also, as a dark wizard, are you able to quickly heal wounds? Warrior claims he saw you with a mediocre dagger, why wield something like that when you have such a powerful weapon?
Warrior: Unlike Rawb who knows two arts, you are purely a warrior correct?
Travelling Merchant: Interesting, would there be a way to get rid of the bad luck after taking something?

Notes:
There may be somebody else that Warrior has mistaken as Rawb.

Rawb-Well, I guess other random people. None of the suspects except me live here though. Quickly heal wounds? Certainly. Using a bit of water magic infused with a li'l secret remedy, and I'm good as new. Simple, that's because Warrior is obviously lying. If I were to kill the banker, do you really think using a mediocore dagger would be effective? Of course not!
Warrior-Yes.
Traveling merchant-Yes, however, it does require the usage of...less than legal items.

Voice in the sky: You what? You wanna fi-actually I'd rather not see you explode into blood and guts. Its disgusting.

The murderer is the Warrior
Why? It does fire damage hence the burn around the wound, and the wound can be caused by the spear
Other notes? Idek didn't play for long

And the poor assassin, the spear is too slow to do any of the little slashes, and there would be scorch marks around them. They also had the stories that matched up well

Side notes: If Rawb can heal, then the warriors slash could of happened. Though that is unlikely due to my findings

Murderers: Warrior and Poor Assassin
Reason: The major stab and scorch marks are from The Smasher, and the small slashes from the Assassin. Their stories make sense together and they worked together for personal gain.
Side notes: if there was really a slash from the warrior, Rawb could of just healed it

How: He returned to his hotel at 11 PM, by TM's sentance ''Rawb left at about 10:25''. He was a suspected suspect for returning to his home for a while
Proof: 1. He murdered the Banker in 5 minutes. 2. He cleaned the knife in 5 more minutes. 3. He disposed the weapon for 5 minutes too. 4. He was dodging citizens for 10 minutes. 5. Sneaking in his home for 5 minutes.

I find it funny I solved it by asking 3 questions total :

 

Lol. All it takes is creativity, and finding the consistences in stories. By the way, as a subsititue prize for you, you will be in the next instalment of "Murder Mystery!" What name shall I use for you?

 

Rawb - "If you don't tell me, there will be more than one murder." "I may be forced to arrest you in suspicion of drugs... if you confess and it turns out to be illegal substance abuse, then I will let you go this once..."
Traveling Merchant - "Interesting... but you didn't answer the second question."
Item Buyer - "Is it true that you were having tea with the Old Mage, then?"
Assassin - "Was he holding a piece of alga." "Hmm... but did you have any contact with anyone recently?"
Warrior - "Were you selling items to the item buyer? Or something else? Also, if you were selling items, what exactly did you sell?"
Old Mage - I mutter something about eavesdroppers. "Hmm..."

Voice from the sky - "If you don't tell me who the murderer is, I will find you and make sure that you are reported as the murderer." "Thanks, I guess..."
Emerald Merchants - "I know that he would have had dealings with all sorts of people... but were there any... ah, unusual deals? Or did he have any recent disagreements?"
Item Identifier - "Do you remember what this dagger was before you were asked to identify it so many times?"

Note 1 - "Hmm... this bag could have contained emeralds or something else... I wonder what...."
Note 2 - "If these people don't give me a straight answer one more time, I'm fire a 2k water damage meteor at every last one of them... except the lucky 1 in every 4s who get 4k."

Extra - I head to the Banker's House and open the door to look inside (this door is going to be locked... I mean, of course it will be...).

 

The mystery was solved. It was the Poor Assassin and the Warrior e_e
