I kill to live.

I hunger for prey.
I pray to not hunger.

At night I roam.
For I have no home.

I left them all to die.
I couldn't protect them.

Hope is just an illusion.
An illusion which I thirst.

The light cannot shatter me.
The darkness has come first.

Blood rains from my bullets.
Tears rain from my eyes.

The moon answers my call.
But it can't answer my cries.

Nothing can save you.
Nothing will save me.

I can never understand you.
You would never understand me.
