war is sooner or later ganna come to the island anyone though right? He thought if they wanted to fight might as well let them before it gets to bad. also since their in college arn't they technically allowed to leave if they want to? It's basically like they dropped out, just they didn't. The professor agreed they can still stay in school, just do more field work rather than paper work.
