Dungeoness

You wake up a cave, curled up inside your shell. Scuttling outside of the small cave, you are immediately greeted by the scorching sun and sand of the Dunes. You notice tracks leading downhill from the dunes you are standing on. There is also a small cliff nearby, which you could easily climb up.

A - Follow the tracks
B - Climb the cliff
C - Free choice

Raios

You bite Daekrion, dealing 16 damage. Daekrion slams your head with his tail, dealing 18 damage.

Daekrion: 16/120 (60 stamina, 0 hunger (he starts starving next turn))

-10 hunger
-18 health

A - Attack
B - Defend
C - Dodge
D - Use Battle Ability 1
E - Use Battle Ability 2
F - Flee

(You can't get more attack, you can only get more health now. Though I am about to release an update soon with several things, one of them being attack-related)

You find a cave further into the jungle and you sleep inside it and so do Velociprey 1, 2 and 3. Velociprey 4, 5 and 6 go away to find food.

You breathe a fireball, which explodes on Daekrion's side, dealing 16 damage and defeating him.
(Btw, because this is training Daekrion actually gets half the normal xp he would gain from a Basarios. That means you get 20 xp, he gets 10 xp. Also, both of your health goes to full, though your stamina and hunger are affected by training... which means eating soon would be a good idea!)

A, So sorry, forgot to reply.

 

I find it funny that my creature, looks the least threatening out of all of them.... but one of the strongest due to its pack... (the pack is fucking insane, just a nuisence to keep track of all of them xD, but its really helpful being able to do multiple tasks)

Daekrion says, "You were good at fighting. I will look forward to fighting alongside you in the future.". You then both go to the food area and start eating coal and ores.

One of the strongest? They do actually have powerful attacks ingame, possibly comparable to even threat level 5 monsters, and their pack, while it doesn't do much damage, is extremely annoying when you try to heal or use another similar item. Still, there are things which live in the same area but are a lot stronger... Speaking of which, I'm having fun with one of the non-player characters right now!

(Just realised, I only gave you the choice to sleep XD. Oh well)

(Its weird because you start with indestructible health, fighting one of the deadliest monsters in the game with cannons, ballista and a hunting gong. Then you do some quests where you don't hunt or if you do then the monsters are quite weak. But then the... I think it was the 8th large monster in the caravan quests, the main storyline stuff, where you have to do the one-time only Gore Magala fight on a ship, where you encounter the frenzy for the first time. Quite hard though... and then you start to get the more interesting monsters, which include things like Basarios, Najarala and Zamtrios. I love the game, though when I first realised that I had to grind a ton of monsters for materials if I actually wanted to kill something... well, at least I managed to get them in the end! Oh, and around a quarter of chest worth of materials too)
