The Name you all decide on, I imagine, will seem fine and dramatic until everyone suddenly realizes it was a stealth reference all along.

The coffin’s five feet tall. The statue inside’s a bit smaller.
Not small enough to move properly without a crew, yes, but not too heavy to sort of drag back.

If you’re just sort of dragging the coffin, I would rule it entirely feasible. The character is sort of a void right now, and could range from anywhere in between Waif and Icelandic Powerlifter.
Is Icelandic the proper term? I think so.

Would you really want to be the one who figured that out?

The sun's climbed quite a bit higher by the time you make it back to the oasis, but at some point the sunk cost fallacy took over and you just kept going.
Well, less of a fallacy because you actually accomplished it, but still the same mode of thinking. The coffin rests by a tree, the task complete. The statue inside is unharmed.

Snippets 01

Trails of fire behind it, what good only be described as a ship on land skims across the sand. The sun rises, and although most of the crew have retreated below deck, 4 remain.

Two are young men, sitting near the prow. Only one, the ship's junior navigator, has any real reason to be there. Still, a friendship of nessecity has developed on the at times cramped ship, and the junior navigator would admit that the other young man makes hours of measuring and adjusting more bearable.
A third is an older woman, wrapped in a massive shawl. She's not from the desert itself - really, most sand traders aren't - but none have yet seen her pay any mind to the blistering heat of the famous Desert that Lives. She sits on a chair she's dragged up onto the deck, reading a book while the dunes smoothly sail by.
The final member of the crew who has not taken shelter is an old man. Not the type of old man who withers, mind you, but the kind who only intensifies with age. He sits at the back of the ship, managing both the engine and steering while occasionally yelling at the junior navigator.
This old man's run a tight operation for years. He's seen this desert at its worst, when death was all but a guarantee for those who dared step into it. It had calmed in the past months, though, rare enough as that was. Sandstorms and the truly horrific monsters were few and far between, and he deemed it a good time to take his youngest son on a trading run. It had only been recently that he trusted the boy at all with navigaiton, but he seemed to be doing fine as it was.

"The Falls, then."

"Yup. Bastard's making a beeline to Old Laenor."

"That's... you know, when I heard Crystal was running from us, that made me think he had just a tiny bit of self preservation."

"Yes, yes, we get it. Old -"

"- Laenor is the single worst place to be on the planet, and manages to make the titan squattin' next to it look preferaable!"

"And again, ninety percent of that is rumors. He probably just doesn't expect us to follow him there."

"Of course he doesn't, because we're not stupid enough to follow him to his death. Right?"

"..."

"You know that the boss would agree with me on this."

"Because you're both incredibly superstitious. For once, I'm glad for his habit of taking long sabbaticals. Where'd he even go this time?"

"Some kinda 'social call' to the Zelnahi, with mutterin' on how he was 'finally going to punch that damn punchable mountain in its punchable face."

"Which mountain?"

"We both know which mountain we're talkin' about here."

"Point. Estimated time of return?"

"And I quote: 'Whenever the hell I feel like it. Exact tone of voice, whatever you need to do to piss my esteemed second-in-command off."

"...Pfft. Fine. Notify the rest of the crew, we leave for the falls at dawn. Typheus is due for a visit soon anyway, we ought to scram."
