Holy Shit Kiocifer! those models are EPIC! I could look at them for a whole hour :D I would love to join the contest and make models but I don't have many good weapon model ideas and I don't know how to make models

Was planning on animating some of the red glowy stuff, but realized that that would be a lot of work to figure out how to do given my current "setup".

This was really fun to make, but the limitations of minecraft java json models got really annoying. I had to do a weird trick with rotation to get the head properly on there.

This gauntlet wasn't made for any weapon in particular, I just wanted to make a gauntlet :P
Maybe I will update this post later if I have another entry for this steampunk theme.

 

Looks really cool.
But, are the blades/claws 0-width? What does it look like from the front? From the front, are the blades just nonexistent?

 

Ya they are 0 width (technically 0.1) it's so the model is pretty efficient on the cube count in this case only 14 cubes. I did that because 90% of the time the player won't see the front of the weapon and mostly from the side.
