There gonna be a mini-event this weekend?


Also, I might have a suggestion for an event.
The danish name for it roughly translates to Reversed Hide n Seek. It is normally played outside, preferable while it's dark.
I don't know if anyone of you know it, you might, you might not.

Basically it is Hide n Seek, but there is only one, or very few, hiders. The seekers will go out looking as normal, but when one finds a hider, they will become a hider as well, and must hide in the same spot as the hider they found.
At some point all seekers will have turned hiders and the round is over. If the rounds take too long, there could be a time limit of sorts.
In this game, I suggest we monitor who is still seeking by having chat updates for every minute or so, where all seekers will indicate that they haven't found anyone. (This is to prevent a scenario where every participant is hiding without the game moderators being aware. No announcement when they do find someone though).
I suggest seekers go by themselves seeking to keep the game more interesting, and hiders to either; find a spot with space enough for multiple players, or find a godlike spot where there is, for reasons, no need for excess room.
Other than that, normal rules of Hide n Seek applies.

If this becomes a thing, I'll gladly help moderate it if needs be.

I work night shifts during weekdays. From 10pm to 7am until the summer holidays (I usually keep the sleep schedule during the weekends too to play games).
So naughty Thil here was doing forum stuffs while idling at work.

 

I just wake up early. It's not rare for me to be on at like 5 o'clock ;P

 

I love hide and seek events but they end up being almost disastrous. the hints are always _slightly off_ . But more won't hurt

Well, I was playing other games over Minecraft at the time you did the Hide n Seek events last, so I wouldn't know. I could see it happen, though.
I mean we could try it out and see how it goes. I think it could be pretty fun, at least until it goes haywire.

Hey pretz since we're on official events thread I wanted to ask you how did thoose drunk boss fights go?
I didn't come becouse I mistook the time. RIP people with diferent time zones.

 

I was there smh i told pretz to link a countdown timer to each event!, we did LI while being drunk from the nemract drunkness potions. However, we did stop with the booze after the 2nd boss

 

There's not gonna be a mini-event this weekend, I've got finals coming up and a research paper that I need to actually start on.

Next weekend there will be one at about 10am pst, 1pm est. Rip my sleep.

 

So, uh, turns out I didn't realize what this coming weekend is, and turns out I am going to be not at home... I am sorry, the 8th should have a nice event going on.

 

But... But...
This coming weekend is the last weekend, of the next 3 or 4, that I will actually be home for. I was hoping I would finally be able to make it to one of these mini-events. Looks like that's a no.
Unless something can be arranged without the need of one singular specific person. The event could theoretically be arranged by one of us non-authority people. Not that I want to replace Pretz as the host in any way, but if the rest of us wanted to do one mini-event in a weekend Pretz can't come, what is there to stop us?

 

I was thinking that, but I am not sure who would even want to do it and I don't want to force anyone into it.

 

I could do it. I am not aiming for anything big, just a little something for those that want to have a little fun with community people when you don't have the time.

 

I'm not entirely sure. Actually I could just do it on Sunday instead, or Friday night now that I think about it.

 

You don't trust me to it? Alright, I guess that's fair enough.
Sundays are bad for me though. Friday is fine by me. However, I don't know about anyone else.

This time we're going to be doing dungeon runs, because that seems like the thing that most people like...
