    Ok, so that's…
    2 moons out of hundreds?
Seems like a moon acting in that behavior is the anomaly

Well, basically, the laws of gravity and the force itself are only based on an object with a supermassive amount of mass to depend on.
    ex: The Sun, Earth.

And who said the moon isn't slowly moving towards us?
If you look at what the universe would look like from a scientist's perspective billions of years from now, after the extinction of life, but before total heat death.
At this point in time, our star would be a white dwarf, or a decently sized red giant, still sustaining the same amount of mass.
But, if in this time the moon was still remaining in its shape, as the slow process of matter decay begins to happen, the earth's planetary particles began to decay, and the orbit of the moon would change to a more ovular shape. This happens because of the way gravity reacts to a planet's mass, as it disappears, it can no longer retain its nearly circular orbit and begins to move into a more stretched out form. However, the earth orbit will not change, because of the amount of hydrogen fission in the sun, keeping its mass stable and dense, as the individual atoms begin to form denser and denser materials, (helium, hydrogen, silicon) and finally iron. This small amount of iron is called a white dwarf, and retains the same mass as the original sun, but is 1000's of times smaller, nearly the size of earth, and has highly reduced matter decay. However, the sun will eventually decay, (heat death, end of the universe) and by then the earth will be gone too. But this proves that the moon is not a planet, but rather just a chunk of earth that has happened to fall into earth's individual orbit.

Those are a few examples that I found by just memory. Because of how proportionally gargantuan our "moon" is to other satellitic objects, it's much more likely to have a gravitational relationship than a gravitational dependance on the earth.
This thread is almost a month old, anyways, give it a rest. you barely avoided a necro.

http://www.astronomy.com/news-observing/ask astro/1999/03/ive heard that the moon is moving away from earth by about an inch 25 cm each year why is this happening

On a larger timescale, that means weaker tides and no more total solar eclipses.

Oh and also the days will be getting longer before the moon and Earth syncs up

    interesting demonstration at 2:26

Technically moons can be -EXTREMELY- small though, so if by moon sized debris you mean like debris that is 1km diameter then yes

    Oh, SO many inaccuracies
First, the White dwarf doesn't have the same amount of mass as the sun; it has about half of it. Second, the moon and earth would likely have been already eaten by the sun during the red giant phase. Third, gravitational decay is a thing; assuming that all of your assumptions are correct, the earth would still plummet into the dead sun because of it. Fourth, the moon is moving AWAY from us, albiet very slowly, so by that time it would likely have escaped earth's orbit. Also,
I'm just going to let you think about what's wrong with this statement.
