You manage to cut it straight down the middle and it lands behind you. It doesn't seemed fazed the it almost is cut in half.

 

If you wanted to use a dice, I think you can look up "Dungeons and Dragons dice" and there's an online one. You could switch back and forth between it even if you wanted to.

It raises its arm and deflects the attack but gets thrown backwards and lands with its back on the ground.

 

*quickly tries to stab it's head and cut the rest of the tear so its in 2 pieces using both of its stone blades*

 

The body devolves into a black liquid and evaporates. Theres probably more around.

 

(would the guy that sent me to do this want me to exterminate all of them or report back about it so they could send more people to deal with it?)

*carefully starts making his way out of the place and back to the lab to report what he saw, getting a sample of the liquid for the scientists to study if there's any left*

 

you get enough to test and head back, when you get there there is a boy wearing nothing but a simple teeshirt depicting a mech and jeans. He has light brown hair and dull orange eyes. He waves to you. The head scientist, Doctor Leo, comes over and asks you what you found.

 

*waves back* "I'm not sure what they were, but they looked like living shadows, but had scythes for hands. I cut one almost completely in 1/2 and it didn't faze him at all. When I finally killed him though it dissolved into this black-ish liquid here." *pulls out the sample to give to Doctor Leo*

*I walk with the girl to my dad's office*
Shalen: "I'll introduce you to my dad."
*Opens door*
Shalen: "Dad, we've got a new employee. It's the girl we talked about earlier this week."

 

I try to call for backup to arrest him

 

"Ah, thank you. You should go talk to that boy, he showed up just an hour ago."

I stop in a nearby hotel for the night.

 

You get two answers from guards nearby over the headset in your suit. The man is almost completely engulfed in metal. Soon two men in black combat suits come running up from the north and north-west. One immediately pulls out handcuffs and the other pulls out a gun as they both walk over to the man. "You can let go of him now. Good work soldier." one says to you.

You wake up around 6:00 local time. You know the school will still be open so you could go start your mission now if you wanted.
