(its an angel thing) However you find a note stc to the outside of you backdoor. it reads "Hello there young angel, I am the hacker know as Moondust. I have soon things I would like to talk to you about. Meet me at the coffee shop outside your school tomorrow." You've heard of Moondust before, a female hacker that broke into several of the big criminal gangs bank accounts a took all of their money. She meant well but the government still saw it as stealing. That shop is pretty populated so its not like you can get abducted though.

Miya: "Moondust? Hmm... She doesn't seem bad, considering her actions were likely to cut funding for the criminal gangs... It could be a lie, from a different hacker since you'd need to hack to get in like this, but it's unlikely I can be abducted, and I can hold my own in combat, anyway."

after studying for over an hour your phone starts to ring. You don't recognize the number though.

 

(I'm less of a bookworm, but I still work my mind quite a bit. I learn better from practice than from reading.)

Backstory: Nero comes from a long line of Demon nobility who ever since being introduced to the human world have been allied with them. The family's main goal is to create perfect harmony between demons and humans. Nero was born being exposed to lots of magic, and when he travelled to the human world, he was fascinated by the extreme advancements in technology. He decided that he would do his best to advocate for equality in magic and technology, and sought out to become the embodiment of this equal relationship.

Appearance: Normal build, slightly slouched, usually wears a red cloak over his power-armor. No one has actually ever seen him without his armor or cloak, so what he actually looks like is a mystery.

Class: He uses a combination of technological and magical attacks.

Weapon(ranged): Custom Light-submachine gun (fires bolts of light), Custom Plasma-Laser assault rifle (has a plasma mode for selective and single shots, and a laser mode for auto shooting)

Weapon(melee): Flame blade (rapier with a blade of flames), Ice blade (rapier with a blade of ice)

Technological upgrades: Power armor

Magic abilities: Expert spell casting- Can cast almost any spell with ease and with a buff to the spell.
Magically Adept- Has ease in learning almost any spell
Flight- He can fly

Starting city: Gleydan

 

Shalen: "Well there's a pretty nice hotel just down the street, but an apprentice you say? Well... I don't really need any help at the moment, but a few extra hands wouldn't mind. Tell ya what, how about you come back when your weapon is finished. In the meantime I'll think about your question."

 

As I head to the portal, I activate a program on the concealed computer I'm wearing on my left eye (it's basically like a contact lens) (these are a fairly standard thing) that scans and archives his face so that I can't lose sight of him in a crowd.

 

can I call for backup since I work with the guards?
I try to tighten the vines to prevent his fire from escaping. so a cocoon of vines

 

Okay. Then the options for a character aren't completely infinite, but very close ^^

 

"Hello" a feminine voice answers "I seem to have a monster infestation. I here you can help with those."

you reach one of the gates in the large open room and walk inside as the line is reduced to single file. The boy is standing a few people behind you.
You walk by a retina scanner the verifies your identity and then come to several doors lined up. A sign above the doors tells you to open one and walk in then close the door to reach your destination.

I pass through one of the doors, then close it behind me.

 

You walk out of the door on the lab as it is on the ground floor of a university. The wether is unusually clear today. (Due to time zones Gleydan has middle of morning when other people have late afternoon and evening.) Most people are working or studying so the streets are relatively empty.
You make it to your destination in about an hour and a half. There doesn't seem to be anything odd around but something makes you uneasy.

You arrive in a building similar to the one you left but now you are on the sixth floor. The boy from before walks out of the door next to you. He comes over to you and says "Well, I feel we've danced around quite enough." He holds out his hand and adds "I'm Jesse."

 

I nod. "I'm Robin." "I apologize if I don't shake you're hand, I'm not exactly quick to trust anyone..."

 

"Understandable. Anyway why are you holding a dagger?"

 

Shalen: "Alright, see ya around."
*I walk towards my dad's office and open the door.*
Shalen: "Hey dad, I need to ask you something. A few minutes ago this girl walked into the store and asked if I could use an apprentice. I don't need the help right now, but what do you think?"

 

"Perceptive, aren't you?"

"Let's just say I wasn't entirely comfortable being shut in an elevator with someone who radiates the kind of aura you do..."

 

"hmm, why not. You could use a few friends"

 

*I look at him with a questionable face*
Shalen: "Well that's not very nice to say... Anyway she also asked if I could make her a weapon."
*I show him a note with the demands written on it*
Shalen: "I better get to work, still got a lot to do."

 

"I guess we're both perceptive. Well, using a demon soul for a weapon does affect someones aura. But don't worry, I'm not some new monster. Anyway what are you in Gleydan for?"
