That's true, though you generally get more alerts as a GM.

I've considered starting one too. @Epikwintime (remember this guy?) has also told me that I should continue his.

Name: Ursupina

Age- 19, gender- Female

Race- Demon-Human hybrid

Backstory- The demon Gahandra entered the lair of Fat Horatio, one of Thaedal's most powerful crime lords on a diplomatic mission shortly after the reentering of the monsters. However, she was kept prisoner raped by him, as he considered her an exotic prize. Ten months after her capture, Gahandra gave birth to Ursupina, who she raised to rebel against authority, particularly humans. When Ursupina was eight years old, Fat Horatio's lair was raided by a rival organisation, and the fighting allowed her and Gahandra to escape. After sneaking out of Thaedal, the two of them camped in secret in various locations, terrified that Fat Horatio would attempt to recapture them. In the process, Ursupina gained immense abilities in stealth. After seven years of this, Gahandra decided to seek asylum in Aseau, confident in its protection. However, the guards refused to accept them in, and after a month in desperation outside the gates, Gahandra tried to use her demonic powers to force her way in. This worked until she reached at the gates whereupon she begged the government guards to let her in. They immediately tranquilised her, sent and sent her to trial, where she was convicted of trespassing and treason, and through bending of the law, was put to death (it was later discovered that the prosecutor had taken bribes from Fat Horatio). Sneaking up the walls with stealth powers, Ursupina witnessed her mother's public execution. Fleeing the city, she attempted to shift her appearance, to look more human. She turned up in Reswaiton, looking like an ill human, and claimed to be the only survivor of a demon's attack on a farm. She spent four years as a beggar in the city, dabbling in pickpocketing, and learned to control her hatred towards humans, who she still blames for her misfortune. Recently, a flawless burglary of a wealthy sea merchant has got her noticed, and though the authorities were unable to convict her, she wishes to use this newfound recognition and wealth to abandon her life in Reswaiton and help monsters across the world.

Appearance- A very skinny human woman in shape (she has been homeless for four years), but with (when not camouflaged) slightly purple skin, wild purple hair and a short three-pronged tail. Her hands and feet are webbed, making her a good swimmer.

Class: Stealth melee/rogue

Weapons- Two kitchen knives that she has modified with scrap. One has a fusion battery attached to the blade with bare cable, which allows it to quickly electrocute victims. Stuns victims silently. The other has the damaged cartridge of a plasma rifle, a blade reinforced with heat resistant material and a thermal handguard, which means that when it is activated it covers its blade in plasma, melting through most armour and devastating living tissue. It's unreliable and takes a long time to reload, so it's largely an emergency failsafe weapon.

(EDIT) I realised everyone else has melee and ranged, so I'm giving her a small, handmade puke ray as well (exists today, can stun and nauseate enemies from a distance. Basically a weird, surprisingly effective LED system that the police use). I'm also giving her a small, (weak but very compact) concealed laser pistol.

Technological upgrades- None

Abilities- Shield of ignorance- Stealth spell, causes nearby enemies to filter out the area she is in, allowing her to sneak around and perform actions without attracting attention. Unreliable with sound, and once someone is alerted, they can bypass the spell.

Sympathetic Rage- Gets a damage boost when she sees monsters being hurt.

Chameleon- Passive, togglable ability that improves stealth. Not complete camouflage, and can only change the colour of her skin to match the background. Gradually wears off and must recharge for double the camouflaged period.

Demonic Flight- Allows her to levitate up to a metre from any surface, allowing her to climb, hang from ceilings, perform complex evasive maneuvers, etcetera. Very tiring to use.

Yes - I snuck onto his ship and stole his entire cargo while he was at the bar, and hid it. Everyone knows full well that nobody else had the skills needed to do it, but there is not sufficient evidence to convict me. This case has attracted quite a lot of attention, as the ship was pretty secure, and the merchant was semi-famous. Of course, I can't actually use the cargo for a while, as that would give me away.
