Usually the auctioneer increases the auction time by 25% of the original time, then the auction continues.

 

But then one could heavily rig the auction.

Ex: I bad a below average offer on the auction and then my alt places a ginormous 99% off of buyout bid. When end date roles around, my alt cancels and therefore I get the item, while only paying below average.

IP check is possible in a game as simple as Minecraft.... So I mean something that can be coded in millions of ways because there are no restrictions unlike MC can definitely do it.

-.-... They are... What I was saying to make it simple was that, you can find IP in a game like MC so on the forums there has to be a way to find IP or another way to find alts. For example the Gmail service can track if you logged on to your email on a different computer and will usually ask if it should trust this computer on other instances so there could be a possible way to check if the forums account was frequently logged on the same computer as another one.
