Oh I do it for free so it means I can act like boring content is good content.
I get it you aren't paid, but stating that won't change my or anyone elses interest in the game.

Maybe we should get paid devs who can be devoted to doing things like fixing game mechanics (like - or + spell% working on elemental damage, or atk tier, or cactus), or whatever they think will create more incentive to play/general interest.


Also I'm not saying there isn't any good content, it's just that there is a lot of boring/uninteresting content.

 

We are pretty much the only successful mmorpg server to date with a stable amount of players online. I doubt we make boring content, please name another running mmorpg server in minecraft like us. Were you even here when quests item ids and many other features didn't exist ?

 

Just because there isn't another mmorpg server doesn't mean that wynncraft is perfect or even great.

You may get players, but most of them are lower level players who don't have to experience grinding, doing what is the same go find this and bring it to me quest 20+ times in a row. They quit when they reach the mid 50s (i've seen in in over 6 irl friends ok maybe 6 exactly) due to content.


Also this is pretty unrelated to my original statement which is boredom at my level due to a lack of depth/care for the game. Who allows broken mechanics to be in there game for 6+ months whilst knowing it exists/is ruining gameplay. (Looks at cactus, atk tier, -/+spell/melee%).

 

I know wynncraft isn't perfect, but we have to make do with the devs we have. We don't have the resources that hypixel or mineplex does. Furthermore the reason there are bugs and sometimes broken mechanics and build paths is because of how much harder it is to design a working mmorpg in minecraft. But I guess this is all just relative opinions. To each their own.

 

I don't really care about the giveaway but there's one thing that's bothering me.

Are you serious? I get that this is your opinion.
But have you ever joined a different Minecraft server and seen it's community? Wynncraft's community when looking at the fact that it's inside of a game corrupt by 7 year old cheaters is literally amazing, Also you should've not stated the reasons for you leaving so aggressively, You leaving doesn't have to leave a trail of other people who lost faith in staff too, And one more thing to say, Wynncraft was made by a bunch of non-paid volunteers who literally made their own free-to-play game inside of Minecraft, A game better than most professional-funded MMORPGs I've come across, So from this point of view, Is it really that bad?
