World Martial Arts Combat System

    Have you ever thought that Minecraft's Combat is so boring? Slash and shield, then slash again, just boring. Well my proposal here solves the problem.

    My thinking is similar to the current spell system, which means the RXX clicking sequence, but by adding one more alphabet, WHOLE NEW POSSIBILITIES, but no, my thinking isn't about more spells, its about combat moves!

    Now, there, don't rage and say you want new spells, I am talking about something more fun, ya, 3rd time mentioning, MARTIAL ARTS COMBAT MOVES. Ok lets make an example here.

    There is an assassin and archer dueling, they felt bored about spamming spells, (I don't know much about PvP spell combat, so don't rage on me please) so the Assassin uses a move, quickly clicking R-L-R-R named roll and slash (this move gives enemy slowless and nausea for 5 seconds if not counter-attacked) , but the archer used another move, slashing L-R-R-L, a move named bow knock(knocks back enemies 10 blocks away and quickly shoot an 50% damage arrow), if the assassin wants to avoid the arrow, he should smash R-L-R-L to activate Side Roll, but he chose to use quick dash(R-L-L-L) and got hit in the face, therefore recieved damage and got stopped in the middle of is dash.

    This is just an example that is without much thinking, so this is not really the moves I want to propose, but this is the main idea. Now I am gonna set a list. You will know what I'm talking about later.



    Assume Archer's four moves as Ar1 Ar2 Ar3 Ar4, Warrior as W1 W2 W3 W4 Mage as M1 M2 M3 M4, Assassin as As1 As2 As3 As4


    List of counter attacking
    As1|As2|As3|As4
    Ar2|Ar3|Ar4|Ar1
    M3|M4| M1 |M2
    W4|W1|W2 |W3

    I know, you won't get it, I won't too, so allow me explain this.
    When you read vertically, these move counter-attacks each other by 100%
    For example,
    Assassin activated As1, Archer/Mage/Warrior activates Ar2/M3/W4 to block the attack, but if a player wrongly activates their battle moves, the enemy will cause you damage of 75%/50%/25% (depending on the move you wrongly casts)of the initial damage of their move, while the damage you dealt will be 25%/50%/75% of your move damage(also depanding on the move). So, if your enemy have a lower health than you the second or third situation benefits you! So when your enem activates As1, you can use
    Ar2 to shield 100% damage and cause 0% damage
    Ar3 to shield 75% damage and cause 25% damage
    Ar4 to shield 50% damage and cause 50% damage
    Ar1 to shield 25% damage and cause 75% damage

    If you want to counter attack, you need to check the particles around them, the particles should appear a few moments before it starts, but if you states a counter attack, they will happen at the same time. Notice whether the particle is white? red? green? blue? Then state your counter-attack

    If mobs in the world are equipted with one or two of these spells, it would be much more fun to try to attack them

    Future FAQ
    Why use these moves when there is no benefit accept more fun?
    Well actually yes, there are benefits, if you hit a player while they have no counter attacks, you will have the privileges of the moves, like debuffing enemies and scoring critical hits.

    How do I activate?
    I've mentioned its activation process would be similar to spells, and by adding one digit, We can have 4 combat moves!
    Activation format
    (Preflix)(Statement)(Details)(Details)
    Right- Left- Right - Right
    Preflix states that it is a activation system, not a general attack.
    Statement tells the system that this is a spell(right) or combat move(left)
    Details state which move or spell the player will use.
    For archers, just reverse right to left and left to right

    Neat idea, but it would only work in PvP (hah) and would forever frick up spell cycles, and current spells would all have to be rebound to four click i/o three.
    I also think the whole rock-paper-scissors style of these new spells (although they aren't really spells but ok) isn't really a positive thing, as, again, it's only ever useful in PvP.
    Great that you want to join the ct, but you're not getting in by thinking of new spells (probably the most common suggestion after backpacks and housing) which wouldn't even function properly outside of PvP and just make normal spells harder to use.

    Actually, for a person that have 12cps, adding one click won't really cost you much time. For spells, its just adding one right click before any spells(left for archers).

    And, this is totally different from rock-paper-scissors, as you can use your counter attack a few moments after your combatant, and only corresponding spells will happen at the same time.

    Lastly, in paragraph 10, I mentioned that if mobs have one or two of these spells, it would be cool. Well, don't you think so?
    Let me make an example, Bob's Reincarnation, I've heard that it was the one of the most difficult bosses in Wynncraft, and that how to kill him is to hit and run, use spells to slow him down, and run again. If removing Bob's current spells while granting him all 16 battle moves, the player won't have to run away so many times, and if its a successful counter attack, the player can easily gain advantages, although it isn't easy to memorize all 16 enemy attacks and how to counter- attack them, but once you memorized it, Bob can also be defeated more easily, but with more fun.

    Simpler spellcasting system is needed if there are more spells, click combos get annoying and people can be dumb. Some people have enough trouble remembering current conbos...

    You also need to consider the difficulties of the content team, in order to detect right click requires /scoreboard, left click can be detected by scoreboard too, but you cant detect what did the person types, if you want additional keys to activate the moves, more Mods.and i should say, 8 things isn't difficult to memorize, I don't think people are that kind of dumb, I think even monkeys can do it.

    Firstly a monkey can't do it lol :D, also I think this would just be a bit unnecesary and overly complicated. Three spells is enough in my opinion.
