So... Why then when walking backwards (legs still moving), does mana regens faster than when I do the normal walking ? Even when stop sprinting to resume normal walking, mana does not build back up as quickly as walking backwards. Try it! Of course its not useful in combat, but just saying, it's handy when touring the countryside.
