Make The Resource Pack Error Less Annoying

So, I'm currently having problems with the resource pack not working, so I'm using the Wynn Enhanced modpack. However, I've seen a good number of other Custom-Wynn resource packs out there, so I know this problem is more universal.

Anyway, in case you don't know, if you don't use the server-side resource pack (even if you use a client-side one) you get this annoying pop-up error message in chat.

At my count, the message pops up every 22 seconds. And, this can be really annoying if you are exploring and reading discoveries or doing quests or whatnot.

And I KNOW I've heard others complain about this too.

It's just so annoying and so frequent, and the message takes up the whole chat box.

So, I recommend implementing one of three solutions:

1) The One-Time Ping

So, basically when you first log in, it will tell you there's a problem. So you see it and can fix it.

But, oh, what is they somehow miss this super big annoying message since it's only happening once?

Onto option 2:

2) The Limited Ping

So, fine, you don't want it to be a 1-time ping in case they miss it? How about putting a max on it? Once the message shows up 5 or 10 times, it stops showing up. They are bound to have gotten the message.

But oh? What if they are weird and imidietly AFK once they log in? Fine

3) Extended Frequency

Like I said, at my count it's every 22 seconds. Can we extend this to like every 5 minutes? Like really, just making it less frequent would be much easier, and people would still see it

Or JP fixes all resource pack problems and we worship him. That would work too.

Thank yee! I don't know how to make mods work, but I can make Technic modpacks, so I guess I can just make a pack with nothing but this

 

You could also use twitch, or just drop the .jar file into your mods file, it's pretty easy

 

Well, my computer decided to randomly die anyway, so I’ve got bigger problems at the moment XD

 

i don't like curse/twitch personally, just play modpacks on it then manually use my own client in the regular .mineman

 

I dont know how to make packs or stuff on Curse/Twitch, only use premade packs. As for manually, any time I’ve tried it it’s never worked

 

yo maybe there could be a /toggle textureerror

maybe a /toggle resourcepack where it just shuts it off with no message, and you put on ur own packs
