The simple topic of this suggestion post is turning relic armor [level 40] tradable. This stems from several reasons, including its tediousness to obtain, and the way its stats have been power creeped over time. Even compared to other old sets its weak for its strength based on its level. While I get that relic armor is meant to be a more powerful adventures [level 24], the standard variant only has 30% more ehp... but loosing mana regen and walk speed at a 14 levels higher. Its also relatively on par with the outlaw set [level 36] a set slightly lower level and worse than both the snow [level 44] and ghostly sets [level 50].

In turn these sets drop from such rare mobs, that have 54 different item drops, ensuring that new players will never obtain them, in a standard playthrough. Leaving them simply as endgame very tedious inconvenient grinds, that have marginal gains compared to adventures sets. Since 30% more ehp matters little when grinding using adventures, as you either have a healer or die very quickly if not careful. While in turn the mana regen and mana steal plus spell damage from ghostly and snow massively outclass the incised xp bonus from the relic set. Since they can easily bridge the 25-50% xp gap in the sheer speed you can kill mobs. [remember to scale to level 50 to equalize skill points]

Even the wiki is outdated and doesn't track the elemental variants, since no one really cares about or uses the set the elemental ones in certain nieces. Which honestly feels like hearsay looking at Wynn builder, for an hour. Since even the elemental ones unless I'm missing something they simply have higher a slightly higher dps at the cost of xp bonus and hp. Although one good example of its niche is Haqherphix [level 42] and thunder relic... but even then simply use discord [level 40] + goblin [level 45] set, you get walk speed near double mana steal [21 vs 37] and more hp, at the cost of 10% damage. [but far easier spell spam]

Leaving these sets simply being inconvenient things to collect that I doubt any significant amount of players have ever obtained on their first playthrough. Since they are super rng and a pain to grind while also being outclassed by more easily accessible gear and sets on trade market.

The untradeable part of these sets feels more like a legacy mechanic from when relic shrines were a thing since if you explored enough or used the wiki you could easily complete the set relatively easy, and being strong for there time. An issue that is far harder now due to the existence of 6 different relic armor sets now each dropping from the same Rare mobs..

To put it simply, I believe due to the shear inconvenience of obtaining the armor pieces, it should be tradable on the trade market. Expssially since all the weapons are tradable. [there are 6 variants of 5 weapons and 4 armor pieces making 54 pieces in total...] Ensuring that only a very small amount of players ever obtain even a single complete relic armor set let alone all 6. Which means relic armor is functionally unattainable and therefore worthless in peoples first playthroughs.

however buffing the set or nerfing competing sets and armor could make it viable... But That doesn't fix the obtainability issue, which is an RNG nightmare.]

I will admit that the primary reason for me creating this post stems from 3 annoyances I have with relic armor.
First is relic weapons being tradable while armor isnt
Second is that I have killed over 100 relic guardians with Lb and LQ on warrior and still havent gotten air relic boots after over 400 relic items... [my luck sucks no suprise] [15-20+ hours grinding them]
Third I'm unable to ever finish my enchanted legacy armor collection due to relic armor being untradeable
Also sorry for my rant in the discord last time I talked about this... hope this version is more polite and well explained.
