Make Godlies Scrapable

I love the whole loot crate system which lets you build up (scrap) shitty loot to get the better loot you want. Most people scrap dupes or weapons they'll never use to get a higher rarity item.

The problem is, if you have godlies you don't want, you can't do anything.

A good example is when I bought 50 crates. After scrapping everything to godly, I got:
x2 dern dagger
x2 dern bow
x3 orange wybel
x1 pheonix dagger

See a bit of a problem?

With a lower rarity you could scrap the extra daggers and wybels, but if they're godly, they are worth absolutely nothing. Not to mention that the dern items could use some reworking (Talk about that in another thread), but a second dern dagger is more useless than getting a common cow morph (literally).

I think that godlies should be scrapable to either:
-Get a random godly (This would probably need to cost 3 instead of 5 because 5 for 1 godly would be insanely desperate. It could also be one you don't have do you don't scrap 5 dern bows for 1 dern bow.)
-Get X crates (Tier wise and amount wise would vary depending on what would be balanced.)

I dont really know on the amount on each side and what type of crates because some people may think it should be in bulk and others think the crates given should be like buying them, mainly random on the tier

To be honest, I was thinking of something similar in regards to scrapping Godly items.

I was thinking that there could be a secret "fifth" tier of items that never appear in the crates, but can be obtained by scrapping the 5 Godly items. The fifth tier may include "cooler" cosmetics, or possibly one of the special pets only obtainable through purchasing in the store (such as the Dragonlings or the Old Man). Yes, this would take away from the in-store purchases a little bit, but to get 5 Godly items typically involves someone spending tons of money on crates.

Basically, you sacrifice 5 Godly items so you have a shot at obtaining in-store purchases, such as pets, bombs, and possibly crates (as suggested above). There will be a point where everyone reaches the Godly tier several times and has too many duplicates of the items.

 

I want to make a loop that doesn't end up in a dead block. a fifth tier could still have duplicates which would create the same problem.

 

I mean.. having 2 orange wybels is fun..

 

The wybels are the only thing that can stack but now that I have 3, any more would be useless

 

I kind of was leaning towards the shop items that are consumable (such as bombs or shouts). That way, the items will end up at a point where they can be consumed, ending the chain of items.

Basically, it works like this:

5 Commons --> 1 Rare
5 Rares --> 1 Epic
5 Epics --> 1 Godly
5 Godlies --> Bombs/Shouts/Crates that eliminate further duplicates

Consume the items after the Godly scrap, and the loop is finished. That way, getting 5 Godlies is a way to receive other items and eliminate useless duplicates of Godly items.

So basically you want duplicates of Godly items? Yes, they are "so rare", but give it time and eventually we will all be in the same situation @Glitchedslayer is in. (He bought 50 crates, so of course the Godly items aren't rare anymore for him.)

Heck, if the shouts or crates don't work, they could make it so we could get the shop exclusive pets. Those are even rarer than Godly items, considering they must be bought individually rather than earned through crates. Getting 5 Godly items will take forever, but once we make it there, we can get something much more worthwhile.

You have to remember that those with 5+ Godly items probably spent tons on crates. At least let them take Godly duplicates and "trade" them for other store items.

 

After getting duplicate Phoenix Daggers within my first 5 crates, I would love to see this feature. I feel both blessed and cursed at the same time.
