    A chance for a spell to be cast twice without extra mana cost on Gale's Force to represent the lore about Gale's spirit fight with with you. Maybe with the chance increasing every time you do damage and it gets reset if you don't do any damage in 10-15 seconds.

    the lore of cata is about it's so stronk and it can tear apart and open a nether portal, so whenever you use spin attack/multihit it teleports you into the nether...

    Here's a few Major ID ideas i think would be neat on some mythics



    Monster: Have it give a bunch of positive status effects to mimic turning you into a monster

    Fatal: % chance to call down a lightning bolt after casting a meteor to essentially cast the meteor twice (you could have the same thing on Thrundacrack but just stronger)

    Singularity: Have all enemies take negative knockback from your melee attacks but as they get closer to you slowness is applied to them

    Grimtrap: Negative health regen that turns into positive health regen when attacking enemies

    Cataclysm: Upon killing x amount of enemies open a rift that does DOT to everything around it including you

    Ignis: Deal 50% extra damage to enemies when they are below 30% health

    Though I don't know the ins and outs of all meta items in the game, I have a few suggestions/speculations.

    There could be a wand variant that would change heal to some sort of damaging aura that inflicts poison on you and surrounding enemies. (Gaia could fall into this category with its IDs but its lore doesn't fit this.)

    I know there is one wand in the game who's IDs are tailor made to buff the heal spell at the cost of all damage potential (forgot its name). Its major ID could be that it changes all of the mage's damaging spells to support spells.
    For example, Meteor could instead be changed to a longer-range heal that will create a small area that will increase player health and mana regen as long as they stay within its radius.

    Idol: you literally gravitate towards water and drown instantly
    Infidel: summons a crusader to fight for you
    Achilles: double damage from projectiles hitting the lower half of your body
    Cardiac Arrest: you have a chance to instantly die
    Aphotic: all spells inflict blindness
    Exploding Spear: when you use the spear it has a chance of exploding, instantly killing you and deleting it
    Slider/Stinger/Bonder/Breaker: your chat gets random letters changed
    Rewind: you become the most disliked weapon of all time

    Holy: You are shielded for 50% of your maximum health (cooldown 30 seconds). When this shield is broken enemies are knocked away.
    Overcharge: If you have more than 18 mana, melee attacks consume mana and are 30% stronger.
    Spider: Allows the user to finish li with a million consumables Casting a spell allows you to shoot webs in the direction you're facing (15 second cooldown)

    Things I would like to see that probably won't happen:

    Bone Stealer: Attacking a mob has a chance to freeze it for 5 seconds and give you one bone.
    Celebration: All attacks spray confetti-like particles.
    Celestial Heart: A wand ID that causes you to selfdestruct and die when you cast meteor. The explosion deals 1000% damage to surrounding mobs. Fun at parties!
    Earmuffs: Disables that awful anvil sound that plays every single time you fail to cast a spell.
    Mending: Collecting XP repairs a crafted item, just like in vanilla.
    Stick Horse: A wand ID that allows you to summon a 10/10 brown horse using the wand. Casting spells with the wand plays horse sounds.
    Succ: Warrior's charge pulls mobs towards you instead of launching you towards them.
    Tax fraud: Your loot bonus is increased by adding 10% of the loot bonus of any other players within 30 blocks of you.
    Volcano: Meteor is changed to a geyser of lava that deals the same total damage, but as a DoT that takes as long as meteor normally takes to fall.
    Vore Master: Killing a mob has a chance to fully restore your health and freeze you for ten seconds. The burp sound effect is played when it activates.
    Whirlpool: Mage's ice snake becomes an AoE around the player that lasts for 5 seconds and can hit up to four times for 40% damage each.

    Instant meteor on its own would be blatantly overpowered, roughly equivalent to a 60% dps boost (depends on the weapon, gear, etc.). Instant heal would be interesting on King of Hearts.

    What if mending was implemented as “Take a constant -20% exp boost for a 10% chance to restore 1-5 durability points on each equipped crafted item (each item independently randomly determined)” or something to that effect

    You know, since it ought to apparently be a " must-have " on every mage, I'd assume it would be something that all kinds of mages could use, which would include melee/support builds, so most likely it would be on the Heal spell.

    I realized that since Mage has no passive benefits like the ones provided by War Scream/Escape, maybe the effect is something along the lines of a passive boosting a stat.

    My guess is that casting Heal would cause ANYONE that is being healed to receive a defensive/offensive boost, like Fortify.

    If we go crazy, it could make the Heal pulses also restore mana, which would allow melee builds to cast Heal more often, supports to let whoever they pocket to go HAM, or spellspam to spam like it always does except they don't have to build as much mana.

    I could also be totally wrong and it just ends up being this.

    I have a couple for myhtics.

    Nirvana: “Enlightenment” - If you take lethal damage, you become invincible for X seconds, and gain a 100% damage boost after which you die. Also, if you die while holding it, you only lose a single soul point.

    Singu: “Event horizon” - When casting a dead star/meteor, it has a chance to turn into a black hole for X seconds, pulling all mobs to it allowing to chuck more meteors into the group of mobs. (This would work like Zarya’s graviton surge from Overwatch)
