Magical Quest Book Buddy [16 Supports]

Background: I got this idea while waiting for Pokémon Sun and Moon to come out, cuz the new Rotom dex. After actually getting my hands on the game, I grew attached to the idea of your little Rotom buddy, and that just made me want to suggest this more.

The idea

I'm thinking we keep the book widely the same, but instead of having just plain old writing in the quest book, we make it more like dialogue.

Example: instead of "Head to XXX, YY, ZZZ for further instructions," have it say "We should head to XXX, YY, ZZZ like [NPC name or sign or w/e] said."

Maybe after every quest stage, you have a dialogue box pop up where the quest book talks to you. This should be just once, right after the book updates.

One benefit from the book update popping up in chat could be fixing that choice in "An Iron Heart Part II," where plenty of people (including me) have clicked to check their quest book, and in turn talking to Dr. Urelix on accident.

It could also randomly say things on your adventure, like the talking mushroom, hell, it could even have a conversation with the talking mushroom!

I think this would make the game seem a bit more interactive.

Idk the book could also be a dick to you, that could be quite funny. (Suggested by @_Sephyr_)

How would this fit into the lore?

At the beginning of the game, when you speak to the king, have him say this:​

King: Oh? What's that boring old book you have?
King: I have just the perfect idea for it!
King: I'll enchant it so it can communicate with you, and recommend what you should do next.
King: [Blue obfuscated text or somethin idk]
