Speculation Mage Island Tower, Underwater Cave

So I went to check out this twisty looking tower near Mage island, and saw a hole in the ocean floor nearby, went to investigate and it leads to a small cave with 2 ruined boats, in the centre of the room are 3 waterfalls, going up one is a tiny cave with 3 gold pressure plates, think it could be anything?

 

Can we have coords and screenshots?

 

Screenshot? Chuck lots of emeralds on the plates and look around or listen if any piston sound plays.

The tower also looks strikingly similar to the mushroom in the skiens island painting

 

There is nothing to use here for the moment :/

I've already make all thsoe conclusions yesterday and today, this cave is useless for the moment apparently :/
