I am not sure if it's just my own isolated problem, or a server-wide one.
But whenever I cast an ice-snake, it only pushes the enemy back a bit and deals a small amount of water damage. However, it inflicts no slow debuff, which is the whole point of the spell.
This makes Mage survival extremely difficult, since many bosses are able to sprint and can outrun a mana-depleted mage.
And without anything to slow the boss down, mages have to use Teleport, which is only a very temporary solution and mages can only teleport-attack-teleport a limited time before they are out of mana and get
    completely destroyed by the boss.
I'm not sure if I am the only one with the problem, or if this ice-snake nerf is intended, but in my eyes the spell needs to be fixed or replaced.

I don't think slowness works (for now?) because when I use my escape spell, it no longer stuns enemies.

Yeah, spells are currently a bit broken. What the revs call "spell effects" such as ice snake freezing enemies is currently not working. They are trying to fix it.

Trust me, I know how you feel.
