Mafia Game 2: Wynnexcavation Game Thread

First off, I thought that it was your opinion that cyber was probably mafia, since you were all geared up to attack him. Now that I'm doing nearly the same thing with one added suspect, you completely switch gears to thinking he's probably town, which just makes you more suspicious. Sure, it's not a guarantee that one of you is mafia, but you're the most suspicious people I see. The chance is pretty high, and a high chance is a path of reasoning that I'm willing to bank on.

 

I'm simply stating a logical fallacy in your reasoning. I fail to see the issue.

 

The issue is that you're disproving a single phrase of my argument, ignoring the rest, and calling it a day. One would think you'd be more approving of my attack on Ubershaften instead of trying to derail it because you have a chance of being a target.

Before this little outburst from you, I really did think Uber had a higher change of being mafia than you.

You've risen by 10% and uber's fallen by 5% because of it. You're both at 80%.

I think that this game is turning out to be pretty weird, especially with this whole "mafia-meter" thing. I don't say that this method is bad, but it's wierd. I know that this list is supoused to be a Stag2005's list of who he thinks is mafia or not, but for me it looks like Stag2005's list of who he likes or not. For example I'm pretty low on it because my style of playing reminds him of his style of playing. Uber's raitings are decreasing slowly, becaouse Stag2005 starts to like him and when Add Air Spear disagrees with Stag and start finding some logical holes in Stag's argumentation the Add Air Spear's raiting increases.
Ok, but where I'm going with this?
In my opinion we should take Stag2005's list not like a source of viable information, but more like what Stag thinks about us at the moment. Everyone should make their own opinions and lynch others basing on this opinions and not basing on someones "mafia-meter" or things like that.

 

My list is just a list of who i trust most at the moment. It should not be a be-all-end-all "this guy is mafia" guide. Random chance means I very well could be wrong on every single count of it, and I'll acknowledge that. I'm going to go off my list due to the fact that it's my personal opinion on who I think is scum or not. So yes, view the list less as me claiming someone is scum and more a clear reading of my suspicions. I'm trusting Air Spear less not because he pointed out how bad my argument was, because face it, it wasn't very well structured, but because how his underlying behavior seems rather fishy to me. ubershaften's rating only went down because if one is mafia, the other might not be, and add air spear seemed more suspicious to me. See in my last post how even though I mentioned how I was liking his arguments more and more, I wasn't discounting the chance that it was a ploy, with uber still being scum. My assessment of him remained the same.

Seriously. Get some real evidence or drop your attack. I enjoy legitimate arguments on me, not one that stems out of a tinfoil.

 

I understand that you don't see your list as the "this guy is mafia" guide, but I was worried that there can be someone who sees it as a guide. My whole previous post was just a message to such a person saying that he should lynch based on his own opinions and not based on your's opinions.
I hope you understand that this wasn't really a critisism towards your list, but more like reminder to everyone else that they should use their's own minds and make theirs own opinions and that they shouldn't copy your's opinions.

Yeah because that hasn't already been done. There's already a list of suspicious people off of that.
You're free to read through it yourself and give us your thoughts, though. Might provide some fresh insight.

Voting them because at the start of the game Jake Paul was attacking Johnald right away (who was innocent) then when storm replaced Jake they tried to cover up the fact that they lynched Johnald to try and make them self look innocent.?

Before people vote me for agreeing with you which I would assume will happen because that seems to be a theme in this game. I could just claim a role if you want. I mean all the detail I can is that General something never told me that my vote would be who i replaced, I talked to him in pms and if u look in the earlier replies and he didnt even mention it in the rules and voting/lynching. I was planning on not voting anyone the first day and after Johnald claimed a role I didn't know my vote would still be his, if I had known i would has unvoted. I mean thats really it XD
