Or also just like an innocent that wants to start a band of people, the mafia try to emulate innocent behaviour so you can't lynch someone on the basis of trying to be innocent

wynner is mostly there because process of elimination and i don't see too much towny things coming from him (his very early-game stuff was pretty decent, but that doesn't carry you that far)
uber has pretty much been exclusively bandwagoning and not really forming his own opinions, that should be self-explanatory, plus this one post from him gives off massive scumvibes to me

I never play specifically to get trusted, I play to end up correct and to win.

 

also why are those 2 people up there, I understand me because I wanted a early to end day on like day 1, and I somewhat understand hm on there.

90% chance wynner is town.
He's playing almost exactly how I started playing in wynn mafia. He's either going to continue doing what I did and get himself killed, or I'm going to die and he'll revert to a more standard town-state.
The problem with this method is that you look very suspicious to town. It gets results, but you look really suspicous. You're also most likely gonna die, the only question being either a lynch or a nightkill. Sorry about that @Wynner.

Uber of the other hand has been very very passive, lynching along with the train. I agree with you in that he's probably mafia, he's only running a 20% chance of being town at this point.

 

After reading through the whole thread like 3 times, I've put together a list of people and chances they are mafia (in my opinion). 10% generally means I think they are town. 90%+ warrants an actual lynch from me. (I'll feel free to test-lynch at 70%+)
Problem is that nobody has hit the 90% mark yet.
Nobody has warranted a true lynch from me yet.
Goddammit people you need to be more active.

GC: 0% - The mod. Maybe he's mafia in disguise. Probably not.
E&E: 5% (Observed) <-> 30% (Paranoia) Literally giving me no scumvibes. This is strange and warrants suspicion. Maybe my paranoia is getting to me. come back to lyria we miss you
DaveZombiee: 10% - The most innocent seeming player in the game.
Wynner: 10% - Reasons provided in my last post
lego_man724: 35% - Giving me scumvibes. This alone is not enough to warrant higher levels of suspicion, however.
Knuckles4212: 50% - Has not given me any reason to think he isn't scum. However, he hasn't given me any reason to think he's town, either.
The_Storm_Lizard: 50% - Same as above
Add Air Spear: 70% - Sorry man, but trying to win instead of being trusted is probably a bad idea. Look how up high you are
Stag2005: 80% - Looking at this from an outsider's perspective. Seriously, you guys don't really trust me and that's probably a good mindset
Ubershaften: 80% - Reasons outlined in previous post

 

I've been playing passive because I mostly agreed with what was said up to this point.

But I can prove that I am town is necessary, although I'd rather not let it get to that stage.

With that being said, @add air spear has been one of the most active players this game, being quick to accuse others. Being an experienced player, he definitely knows that actively leading and influencing town is one of the best ways to look innocent.

I can't eliminate the possibility that he may simply be town, however. But the fact remains that experienced mafia players can look exactly like town as long as the play right. So am I right in suspecting you, @add air spear ?

I feel like you're hoping to nab another quick lynch, whether it be me or someone else.

In case you couldn't already tell, I already suspect @add air spear. With the two of you accusing each other and being so high on the list, one of you is mafia. This is a guarantee.

I'll sit by the wayside and see how this plays out and try to scumread from that.

 

The easiest and fastest way is to lynch one of us.

As I said, there are those who can vouch for me. I would not use vouching as a tactic if I were mafia, because that would get both of us killed if either one of us is found to be mafia. The fact that I can have someone vouch for me should prove that I am town.

To the one/few who can vouch for me:
If the lynch train heads my way, then and only then, please vouch for me so we can avoid a fruitless lynch.

This is actually kinda hilarious. First you're trying to pressure me into changing my meta, then you're saying something that's blatantly incorrect?

The point of mafia is to win. The point of mafia is not to be trusted by everyone. I fail to see what does not make sense here.


Also, your readlist should be from your point of view. Please don't scumread yourself, it gets messy.

V/V (town/town) arguments happen all the freaking time in mafia, far more than V/W (town/scum) arguments. Assuming you're town, then the you/cyber argument was V/V as well. (If not, then attacking us with this line of logic is a scumclaim, so you better come up with some new logic.) Clearly this is not a guarantee.

find one post in the game that you think says something about whether the player is more likely to be town or scum

and then say something about it
