This is a nice build! Might try it out on my Maelstrom if I can get the gear :3 (I totally agree with it being one of the best bows in the game, I <3 mine x3)

The items are still strong even at level 90? Is it because they were legendaries?

 

Indeed. Not just because they're legendaries but because of their synergy with each other as well. Oh, and they are still legendaries ;)

 

• This build is designed to cast spells quickly. If I was right, that means the user will do normal attack less frequent. Meanwhile the Maelstrom attack speed itself is fast. Isn't fast attack speed weapon needs to hit frequently to be effective?
• Is this build not only allow fast spell cast but also allow the normal attack to be used effectively ? Or it ignore the effective normal attack because the spells are enough or because of any other reason?

 

1) The spell damage and normal attacks don't really have a correlation, so normal attacks will not be less frequent :) Indeed, many people turn away from normal attacks despite it's effectiveness. I personally use normal attacks in between spells a lot and they deal deceptively high amounts of damage.

2) Normal attacks also have increased effectiveness with this build because of the elemental increasing stats of the armour pieces, for water, air and thunder each. Normal attacks are deceptively powerful, and can be attested through from this build.

p.s I specifically used armour pieces and accessories to counter Suppression's negative mana steal and life steal to prevent your normal attacks from reeling in any drawbacks :) Shoot away!

 

I started using this build and it worked great. I've upgraded to Soul signal and Momento now that I'm 92 Also I use a Spiritshock as a secondary so 3 weapons

My maelstrom dosent have mana steal on it why?

It's a shame this build is basically useless now that they nerfed maelstrom ;-;

 

Oh man... My 65Archer had been waiting to use this build for 2-months, buying the related gear and all... R.I.P. :(

Ima make a second version with new armor and stuff on the class builds for people who still want to use it c: Mael might have been nerfed but the builds can be just as effective
