Archer/Hunter Help Lvl 82 Build Based Around Corrupted Witherhead's Bow

I'm pretty set on Bad Wolf (since I already have it), and if it's feasible to do Hive Thunder Division without too much trouble at my level I'm going to try and get Static-charged Leggings. My current helmet is Restored Ancient Helmet, which I'm alright with (eventually planning on using Ossuary, if I can get enough runes/exploit concurrent CSST runs - it would also balance out Bad Wolf's minus air defense).

I'm really not sure what to do for the rest of my gear though. I considered Pulse Mail, but I'm a little wary of having -200 or so earth defense (plus it's going to be a pain to get at my level).

I have no idea what to do for accessories, although I would prefer not to do endless dungeon runs or get a Clock Set item unless it's really worth it.

I really like that second one, except I have no idea how I'd go about getting a level 41 bracelet. Still not sure about Pulse Mail though...

Edit: This might take a while... I managed the normal sections of Hive Thunder division without any problems (2 out of 6 health pots used up), but I could barely damage the Psychomancer faster than his natural regen. I only survived as long as I did by Escape-ing backward every few seconds.

 

How good would Spiritshock be, vs. Corrupted Witherhead's Bow? (I just got one while lootrunning)

 

just by themselves, spiritshock already gets slightly better damage. on top of that it also has extra damage from poison and life and mana steal, which would go really well with pulse mail

heres my build suggestion, it focuses quite a bit on damage so the hp runs a bit low, but theres around 400 life steal to hopefully make up for it. if you want more hp though, you can change the pants to your beloved static-charged and/or the jester accessories to stuff like lecade's rank and whatever hp rings there are at the level (generosity? diminished??)

and if u didnt know already which is likely as it isnt told anywhere in the game: life and mana steal only activate from melee attacks, and it's just a chance of it. 4 seconds of constant melee will make both activate once is the general rule on archer

 

Wow, I got literally dozens of jester items while lootrunning in the 60s, but IBed all of them because of the weird set bonus... guess I should have kept a few good ones.

Is there info anywhere on the specifics of attack speed?

 

this thread tells u all about damage, section 1-2. has a list of how many hits per second each attack speed can dish out. the 4 second rule of mana/life steal applies on all speeds, which means with super slow (0.51 hits per second) each melee hit is about a 49% chance of triggering the steal effects, while super fast (4.3 hits per second) has about a 5.75% chance per melee hit

and due to minecraft's limitations on how fast holding right click will register clicks, you can only reach the maximum dps on archer by spam clicking
