That math is incorrect, the chance is nowhere near that. I don't know how the item system works per-se, but assuming a 0.1% chance of a legendary being chosen as loot, then it is an 0.1% chance for every single item in the chest. That doesn't take into account the chance of x number of items appearing, which would lower the chances somewhat.

That said, it is still a pretty low chance.

 

I would take a mythic over two legendaries any day. but still nice find!
