Lost My Money

Hi, I recently was clearing out my questbook of some of the starter quests which skipped and while completing the "potion making" quest, after defeating the researcher I accidentally went back into the house and had to watch the cutscene again. While sitting in the box, I accidentally dropped my 49 emerald blocks and have no way of getting them back. Please help.
