I scan around to see if there are any useful herbs in sight. Especially those used for medicine.

I have no idea wat check to use here.

I aso have the background feature, Practiced Healer: You also are familiar with, and where to find many varieties herbs and materials needed for healing.

 

I'll use Nature, as you are looking for herbs you recognize in nature.

In this area, there aren't many herbs nor materials along the road. However, you are able to make the most of it and find about 5g amount of materials and herbs throughout the rest of the day.

A few days pass as the five of you journey along. The four of you may not have the faintest idea why and how a old drunkard bard joined your group but you struggle through it. Ignoring the drunkard problem, the trip has been safe so far. As you come to a bend, Alice Feinzworth (the wagon driver of the group) spots ahead of her two dead horses sprawled about 50 feet ahead of you give or take. Each horse has several black-feathered arrows sticking out of it. You remember that something before the trip. Aside from Gundren Rockseeker's excited attitude about the trip and maybe his other alternate reasons for going on the trip, he went ahead on horse with another escort named Sildar Hallwinter following suit. Those two horses are probably theirs. The woods around this area also press close to the trail, with a steep embankment and dense thickets on either side.

 

Ok so, at this point I’d say me and Luther have become good friends (@BlueSlimerino?)
I assume Alice has kept her distance, Iados is a bit spooked by Shaz but still tries to make conversation, and tries his best to give Joe-Bob life tips.


At the sight of the horses, my hand goes to my shortbow on my back
Iados (mainly to Luther): ”Stay alert. Whatever killed the horses might still be near.”
