    I never said that you SHOULD make everything by hand. all I'm saying it's dishonst to say EVERY building or feature was done by hand.
    I'm not trying to be "like that", building things by hand, means that I'm just using standart survival minecraft means of building (with flight, infinite resources and instant block breaking). If you're using a tool to edit the landscape, you aren't really doing it by hand anymore. Unless ofcourse I'm wrong, than in that case me using mc edit or world painter would also be by hand.

    In the MC world it's true that's usually what it means. But in the context of the quote, it meant custom built by us for the game, not stuff taken from elsewhere or randomly generated like vanilla Minecraft. IRL, using a hammer or other tools to build a shelf is still considered hand-made and that quote was written for those people outside the community.
